SPYRAL isn't that good. Guru took no hit except demise, and we lost reboot against them. Madolche with salon and promenade still the best deck though :)

Thunder Dragons weeped for their fallen king and while Orcust only lost one brave soul, the hit was aimed well. Konamiman grinned, fully knowing that another wave of unbalanced beasts was only waiting to be released upon this unsuspecting land.
The electrumite hit was to prevent pendulum from doing the same thing SPYRAL did, which was just appearing and becoming the meta itself since all of the other meta decks had recently gotten annihilated.
Decks that didnt get hit: -Invoked (Windwitch) -Lost World Dinos (They even got Lythosagym back) -Cyber Dragons (I guess they are nerfed because of Mr5) -Altergeist (Got buffed because of Pankratops and Red Reboot) -Guru (Same as Altergeist) -Traptrix (Same as Guru and Altergeist) -Paleo (Just dont play Demise and you will be fine) -Mekk-Knights (probably get f`ed in Mr5) -Fluffals (not even wondering) -BA -Magical Musketeers (buffed like guru, altergeist and Paleo) -Photon/Galaxy (not even wondering) -Spyral (new cards make it stronger) -D/D/D (for Mr5 specifically) If I forgot sth. (I surely did) comment the deck I forgot under this comment :)
I literally traded 5 engage 2 hours before the banlist happened, lucky me! Also it makes me sad remember that we lost electrumite... Avenge the fallen boys!
Morphing Jar #2 You probably should look it up. its one of the OG flip monsters. Lets you do infinite loops (With All-out attacks), and mill all your spelltraps from the deck. I mean it's not super viable, but you can FTK with it reasonably easy with all the new flip and trap support. Also it's a board wipe by itself. Like it's no Fiber Jar, but it's nearly there, and is like major boost for flip, and some graveyard decks.
The game is changing and I'm here for it. Although, I'm conflicted on mind control and pankratops. On one hand, I'm sick of people throwing 3 pankratops and mind control in literally anything and calling it special cuz it's GoINg BLiNd SeCoND, and on the other I like the viability of backrow heavy decks being more persistent due to the insurgence of blind second decks being abundant.

The most destructive one that I can remember is when they slaughtered Duelist Alliance format.

Answer: The other Gem Knight normal monsters.
The other gem normal monster are played in pure gem knights, but garnet is not, so garnet is less useful than them :)
