I own a squire 1991 black boulevard Stratocaster. I modded it with Steve Lukather emgs years ago and exchanged the saddles. Still have the pick ups and old saddles
I have an E9 Bullet 1 strat that came stock with fender tuners. The ones with fender written in red. Also came with Fender bridge with the bent saddles and 2 point tremelo instead of the 6
So funny: after stumbling over a video about a guitar I like to buy on your canal, I found a video of the Vintage SG I own and now the next one… I have this 1991 model too. But looking at the serial number mine is made in another factory. It’s a really good guitar. But due to some issues I changed the pots and switch to fender, installed locking tuners and finally went for the Yosemite pickups from fender. Great guitar, well presented! Thanks
Hey Ben thanks for watching funny how you’ve come across the same guitars. The Squier Koreas generally are a great base for modding it’s always the electronics that let them down. The neck on this one was amazing 🙌🏻
It has the best strat tone. It has a flat neck which I kind of like because I'm in my fifties and have kind short stubby fingers. I know I'm late on the comment but I really enjoyed the video. Peace!
Korean Fenders or Squiers are underrated big time. The Korean quality is superb. The reason they moved the production over to the Mexican plant was it became to costly to make them there and the quality became to high. They made some very interesting strats styles and in some cases neck through guitars and used exotic woods. Yes some of the tuners on some guitars were junk but all in all and today's market, A STEAL! A very misunderstood run of guitars. So if you can DON'T BUY any, save them all for me. Remember it's about profit. That's why fender shut down Japan and South Korean and set up shop in Mexico China and Indonesia. Yes Japan makes Fenders but mainly for that side of the world. No taxes or shipping charges. But if you pay the fees you can get any guitar. Think business.
Lateralus is a good choice... I'm gonna go Load - Metallica. Sweet tones from that Strat, although I'm beginning to suspect that the Royal Blue makes every guitar sound awesome :)
Hey 😃 thanks for watching, its Lenny by Stevie Ray Vaughan and after is a neo soul style riff I heard somewhere on instagram. The riffs combine nicely and honor the strat nicely
Looks like a Cort-made Squier. The Samick-made Korean Squiers had the nut on the machine head ferruls. Cort Squiers had ply bodies, Samick Squiers had solid bodies. Could also be Young Chang if its an early Korean.
Thanks for the info Christo, pretty sure it has a Ply body your right. Still has a wonderful neck really surprised me the condition and quality. Thanks for watching
Danny here…My head wasn’t screwed on when we were filming, the guitar is from 1991 (E91 serial) and I paid €190 for it

I have a 1992 Korea Strat from Squier and I absolutely love it! I don’t think, I need a Fender as an upgrade. 🤷♂️😅
Edit: Maybe I do hahaha
