Advice that I got from a former administrator was to put the most information in the top portion of the resume because most places only accept electronic resumes and not paper resumes. Why? The quick view of online resumes by administrators is only the top third of your resume. That's all they see. You must think about how the administrators will be reviewing your resume. They search through hundreds of resumes. So one must understand how they quickly weed through them. I also got advice to *put* your skills in the resume so that they can *see* up front that you can do the job. The job of the resume to is get their attention in 6 seconds and flag your resume for review later. Resume reviewing is all electronic these days so the resume should be tailored with this in mind.
