Can you imagine some kind of USA festival where its just like 80 bands playing stoner and doom metal for like two days, with grilled cheese and wine vendors on one side and band merch on the other? That would be sick

DESERFEST - based outta London & has fests in Europe. They have done 2 in NYC.... try Ripple fest in Austin TX in July...

I often trawl comments to discover new bands so thought I'd try and repay some of the great leads I've had. For anyone here that likes something a bit different have a go at Boss Keloid, Shades of Genesis, but with heavy parts, obscure little melodies, crushing riffs, great vocals. Latest album is Family The Smiling Thrush. Standouts for me on the album are 'Cecil Succulent', 'Gentle Clovis' and 'Orang of Noyn'. Give it a try they're equally as good live. This band really deserve more recognition that they're currently getting! Becouse there is no x, x think that this is absolutely proper music to stop thinking that x'x lstening and thinking about that. :) x think there is not beeing, x'x not feeling, but, that is so sensorial or whatever...tasty, meety, so xx carnage is dancing....
Much less good and subtle than their first albums. The sound is saturated with heavy guitars, there are no melodies. There is no atmosphere or mood. It also lacks the catchy intro of the Orbiter albums or the sounds fx of Planet Terror.
