Zorin OS Lite is still available for download and still in active development! It will continue to be updated and supported until at least 2029!

Q4OS can also fit into the light category as they make a Plasma version as well as Trinity.

They do, but the thing that makes Q4OS is the ultralight trinity version

Additionally, Zorin OS Core / Pro only uses 1.5 GB of RAM, a lot lower that Ubuntu Desktop's 4 GB minimum.

I'm using Bodhi Linux on an HP Pavilion 10x2 (2GB DDR3/64GB emmc and a 1TB HDD with an Atom quad core. runs so much better than Win10 ever did. Bodhi's Moksha desktop is very light, and memory usage is always < 1GB.

I had tried it years ago, was unstable and buggy. Dunno if it works well nowadays.
