  • We know it when we see it: some quarterbacks are scheme merchants. For as good as Matt LaFleur is, could he be one of them? We dig into that question on today's show, plus what does it mean for the Packers to want a "cleaner" contract situation than with Aaron Rodgers?

Peter with the AUDACITY to tell us that he is happy that we don’t have an expensive #1 receiver when you were clamoring for the Packers to trade for Tee Higgins and pay him top dollar…
Peter, I love your content, but don’t jive us 😂

In Jordan Love’s initial season as a Green Bay Packers starting quarterback, the Green Bay Packers demonstrated their potential with a roster brimming with unproven talent. This performance hinted at the possibility of surpassing achievements of previous teams, including those led by Aaron Rodgers, provided that Matt Lafluer’s offensive system can continue to flourish and Jordan Love can further his development within his context. The Packers strategy appears to be grooming a balanced offense that thrives on collective success rather than individual brilliance, a move that could redefine the team’s identity for the years to come. Go Pack Go 💚💚💛💛

Right now it's a combination of scheme and his talent. But Love hasn't developed a 4th Quarter comeback talent. When he must make a big play under pressure. He "Favred" in the final drive vs the 49ers with an INT.

If you're analgy is simply based on playoffs, then yes. Love led an 18 point comeback against the Saints last year, all in the 4th quarter

Jacksonville seen what Lawrence can do the packers have zero clue if Jordan Love is worth being the highest paid quarterback in the league he haven’t shown enough last year he started 2-6 and everybody was talking about drafting a quarterback first round then he ended the season off hot then went out on a game losing interception I love love but he haven’t done enough to say he is worth being highest paid in the league we can’t go off faith 😅

For years we've wanted "the true Matt Lafleur offense"
And I think we are finally learning there is no such thing. Matt is an ever changing genius, but he has some staples he likes
He (since 2019) has shifted from throwing in neutral situations to running, he has shifted from outside zone and stretch plays to more of a between the tackles and duo and power play caller
He likes to have guys who can move around, from tight end receivers (never forget he has Lewis as the sideline pass catcher one some plays)
He changes every year 1 out of the roster and necessity, but also because he is not some stick in the mud.
He will be our HC for 20 or more years
He changes, he rallies and if he wins a SB or two (or 3?) Within his first 10 years, he will finish his career as a top 3 all time wins HC of all time easily
And Jordan? I wont lie I thought he was just taking the layups...its the opposite. He was passing those up for big plays last year esp when starting week 11...we are so elite on offense this year
