Don't Walk! Run! Productions sent me here and I'm glad. I love learning about great inventors.
A real American hero
A year later me too
Me as well.
Ditto, an amazing intellectual. Imagine our life without refrigerated trucks or grocery store, this man should be celebrated daily. Instead they prop up race baiters like al sharp-tongued sharpton, to coin another great black man "amazing".
Same here
Came here as a result of Buzzfeed's failure
Did a school project about this man in middle school Don't Walk productions reminded me about his inspiring legacy. 🇺🇸
Came here from "Don't Walk, Run Productions"
I love learning about great inventors of America!
Me too.
Same
Bitte senden sie mir
I want a movie about this man.
Anyone in The United States has to have Licenses to to buy refrigeration
@@mikecarone7320 Uh no?
Another example of why America is great!
Thanks to Don't Walk run prod... found about this great guy.
A combat veteran of the Great War, inventor of so many incredible life changing pieces of technology that altered the world dramatically. Why hasn't he been awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom?!
Don't Walk! Run! Productions sent me here. Buzzfeed did this great man dirty by not even mentioning his name. You get a like and watch from me.
Absolutely amazing man.
Thermo king 👌
God bless Frederick, God bless America!
AND a Veteran to boot!
Fred Jones and Alabama’s George Washington Carver were two of America’s top inventors. Outstanding results
Alabama's?
You mean Missouri, I've been to the museum and statue in diamond.
@@brentbarham3157 George Washington Carver was born in Missouri, but attended college in Iowa, before he went to Tuskegee. And no George Washington Carver did NOT invent peanut butter.
@@HVACSoldier Dave. Calm down. No one said he invented peanut butter.
Wow, he's so underrepresented and known about, thank you, plus that powerful message at the end, oof. 10/10
Godspeed big brother Jones
Brother jones is amazing and this this world should be ashamed of its self not to recognize Mr.Jones on the big stage
This man made Ice Cream trucks a reality! Holy smokes
A thermo king truck probably transported the produce that stock your local grocery store
The 2 down votes must be from buzzfeed
I'm a trucker I pull refer trailers and have pulled many Thermo King trailers😁
many thermoking in europe to...
What reefer company???
His words are great advice in any time! All American people should work to emulate some of the "old fashion" or "old school" entrepreneurs. Not like the get rich quick people of today. Our country would be great again regardless of who is the titular head!
Don't walk run
Dude just casually developed a portable x ray machine
American hero.
✊🏾💪🏾 First family 🙏🏾
What a legend
He was born in cincinnati, moved to Kentucky, then back to Cincinnati, then his Minnesota
He worked on so many things. That's impressive
Why this stories never been told to the public?
Alot of people don't realize that Thermo king was Invented and started by a black man...oh yea and the snow mobile
Was he compensated for any of his inventions
Hell Yeah
Fred Jones didn't build the first refrigerated truck. Those already existed. He built a refrigerated trailer that was separable from the truck pulling it. So those big rigs you see on the highways pulling big trailers. He build a refrigerated trailer, but not the first refrigerated shipping truck.
Where did you find those pictures with the racing car at?! 1:29 , 1:43 (do you have this one in its entirety) ?
✊🏿✊🏿✊🏿✊🏿
Who was the narrator for this? It sounds like Larry Elder.
Now I know.
Advancing the human condition through scientific knowledge.
Black new channel BNC brought me here
How much was he worth?
Walk dont run
OMG
he only put someones else invention into truck. same as who first put radio receiver into car.
I see where you are coming from. The refrigerator had been around as early as 1913 and even earlier when you dive into the tech that establishes the base functions. When it comes down to who invented what, there is always so much more to uncover.
What he came up with was the world's first system for refrigerated transportation. It never says he invented refrigeration.
Radoslav you really need to pay attention....he was the inventor of MOBILE REFRIGERATION AND THE FOUNDER OF thermo king.... black excellence✊🏿✊🏿
@@biga4135 using white inventions 🤣🤣
@@babagandu Yes but he still invented something entirely new that no one have thought of prior, and his inventions changed the way people transport frozen items and food in general. White people or people in general just do not like to see a Black man succeeding, and when he does they think of a asinine excuse on how it wasn’t made by a Black man or how they leveraged off of someone else’s invention when not a single white man even thought about creating a freezer truck.
Maybe with climate change they can finally sell refrigerators in Siberia.
But he is black man inventer in America
Why is this great man, referred to as black African American? He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio to a white father and black mother. He is an American. Also, why are mixed-race people considered black?
I thought something might be up, interesting we both know the answer to that
He's black deal with it..... Because hes black gene's over power his white and he was dark skin
@@babagandu don't we all... it's not our fault our language was Stripped away from us During slavery
Because in the early 20th century. It didn't matter if he had a white father. The went by the One Drop Rule if you had even just a qtr of African blood you were considered black and treated as second class citizen it's not like today. Back than on his father side some relatives would not even give him recognition as family. His on family would not call him white mixed anything else only black.
