You got something wrong. There is a BIG difference with how the XZ3 records in HDR vs XZ2. The XZ3 now records in HDR in the HLG format, vs HDR10 standard for the XZ2. Basically, watching HDR content shot with the XZ3 will not be washed out or dull when viewed on non HDR screens, as would happen with the XZ2. HLG is backwards compatible, HDR10 isn't. This matters!
Guys who say why there is not second camera. It's because of Snapdragon 845 capability. You can have up to 32 M pixel one camera or dual camera up to 16 M pixel and because it's 19 M pixel we are going to have one and it's enough. Don't doubt that it's awesome single camera. And I don't know why people look for second camera while all of professional cameras have just one.
On this phone you get image stabilization even when shooting 4K HDR, when others aren't able to push some image stabilization with basic 4K. This is one of the best cameras available for sure, it can't rival the mow light capabilities of the XZ2P for sure, but daylight shots are as good if not better (with the software enhancements it has).

Hey Chris, just to correct things xz3 has built in Bokeh mode on the rear camera as well. Do check it and change it in your review. I heard that the rear camera Bokeh is quite better than the front camera Bokeh and matches most of the flagship portrait modes

I recommend getting a wet screen protector and put it on carefully and it should work well. There are not many good glass protectors for the screen, the reviews are mixed on Amazon.
Don't waste your money. I've had my XZ3 for a year and hate it. The camera in particular is very poor, but it's glitchy in general and crashes regularly.

Xperia have best front camera image processing Coz unlike iPhone and Samsung, they don't flip your facial images to make ur face look less good looking than it actually looks in real life.
sony xz3 is amaizing phone and unique. unfortunately my xz3 sony had a problem, maybe was a defective unit.. when i use the camera it was very very hot on back in the camera area, and when i want to use the AR function it was sooo slowly and blocked. i hope it was only my phone problem. i changed the phone with a p20pro but i want a sony xz3 again. i found now a red version but i don. t have the courage to buy... :((((

Bro, I'm currently using xz2 and previously using xz premium, there is absolutely nothing wrong with the fps on the xz2. You will adapt within a day or two.
I am using lg Stylo 4 the camera is worse, I used s8 plus too but the cemra is deceptive when you zoom it, it loses all it's resolution samething with iPhone too, but I used sony z1 when I see or compare the thectures to today's Samsung or iPhones the picture quality is still better. The S9's and the S9+'s camera are the same in the note 9 so why the people only notice and make big deal of it and also the media emphasis that to give the impression that Sony is repeating itself and doing wrong and making the audience to believe them. Disappointing camera as expected. Can't match the XZ2 Premium nor the Note 9. The XZ3 is launching next to iPhone Xs and Pixel 3 so it's dead on arrival.
P.S: Why are you interested into knowing why Sony still exists?? It's not like there's a Sony fan who asked the same thing when the biggest brands today like Samsung and Huawei were making average quality plastic phones when Sony was making premium quality products during those times already.

No I don't think that's the reason. XZ2 Premium has a dual camera setup, and it still has SD845
Since the second camera on XZ2 Premium is "only" 12 M pixel there might be a 32 M total limit to the SD845. I guess plausible.
