nice work dude! I am a scuba diver and you nailed a lot of the principals of being underwater that most people dont think about, the distortion, the obscuring of the distance/blurring etc. thanks for sharing :)

    Hey Karim,
How would we add depth? I would like the water to get darker the deeper the player goes down, is this possible? Thanks!

did you manage to do it? I have the same need and any help would be amazing ^^
For starters I guess one option would be to get the world position of the player and create a boolean that lets you know if you are underwater, if you are then get the postprocess volume and make it less bright the deeper you go (this would probably even allow to change the colors too, for example if you're too deep no red light should be there)

Karim - a very informative and engaging tutorial. Thank you so much for posting this.
I learned so much about lighting this type of environment!
Two months ago I purchased your Underwater BPv2 and found it very easy to use and I was very happy with the results of my 1st ever, underwater cinematic.
    (ruclips.net/video/E2pdK78u1ow/видео.html).
This tutorial really helped me understand light physics and interactions underwater much better and I feel I have a better understanding of how and what to tweak in my future underwater cinematics!
Definitely bookmarking this video for future reference.
