Agree it was obvious who ailee was. The other singers can imitate only parts of the song. That is/what I mean is they can imitate a few words in a line but only ailee can sing the way the song was originally sung because she sang it.
4 she had me at everyday.. No.1 sounds like Ailee in her previous works like Heaven & I will show you.. I get a bit confuse between 2 & 4.. No.3 is so different..
For me I recognized 2 right away because her voice is much more held back than Ailee’s and I found 3’s voice is the most powerful after Ailee but the ‘everyday’ part gave it away lol
Who else was shooked. They all really sound like Ailee. I had to switch from 1 and then to 3 and i realized that i may not really know Ailee’s voice at all. Edit: everyone in the comment section saying they knew it was four. lmaooo good job y’all
If you're an Aileean you would really know.. they sounded a bit same. but just some tone. Ailees voice is really unique so you can figure it out right away.. 😊
The thing about ailee is that during live performances she usually does a little something to change it up. When she goes to music shows like this, because she's such a good singer and has extremely good control over her voice she can easily camouflage it to 1. Revert to orginal version of the song, 2. Match the others singers tone or 3. Somewhat mask her voice so its unrecognizable. Now I'm not saying its hard to recognize her voice here but i did have a hard time with the 3rd round because she did mask it a bit more compared to the other 3 rounds. Which is why i think she got eliminated last round. Plus it does sound different when your in a hall like that. The echoes and the background makes it hard to really hear one's voice and let's be honest all the girls were just amazing singers. Sure they are not the exact replica of ailee's voice but they came pretty damn close depending on the song. And let's face it Ailee's voice is just one of a kind, you cant just copy a voice like that no matter how hard you try. Honestly you can tell that she changes the way she sings because as soon as they open the door to reveal its her she goes back to the power house vocalist that she is, she puts more colour by changing some parts of the song and thats what I love about just all live performances in general, of any artist. You can see how good an artist is by their live performances tbh. Hopefully this makes sense to everyone cause i tend to go all over the place when i explain things 😅😅

I feel like they also put some kind of filter on their voices to mask it better too. That and the fact that they didn't allow the higher notes to shiney on every one of them because that's when it's so damn obvious. Like one of the participants said she got like 4 lungs
The only way to recognise ailee that is whenever she hits a high note it doen't feel pressurized. It feel like she is hitting high note as she normally singing. Normally when singer hit high note you can see how much pressure they put into it.
I really love it whenever Ailee is singing with other people. She knows she's a good singer but she never fails to let other people shine. Especially if its her fans 😍
SERIOUSLY, ailee have deep tone voice and no one can easily imitating her, the only reason making you are so confused bc the music and the beat is so fast.
