WE were stationed on Guam in the mid 1960s. The population was much smaller with very little development. Guam was not a a Pacific tourist mecca at that time. There were fewer things to be blown over. Daus before a Typhoon passed nearby, all of the military planes and ships took off. the military families were left behind until the storm passed by.
That buzzsaw on them moving slowly and no deaths...God was looking out for them. 🙏🙏🙏
The US navy is on their way
Yes a US Carrier should be there soon...stay strong 🙏!
"1 Week" = 23 days on Guam. Good thing it didn't flip over in those high winds!

I find it funny that people aren't preppered for such natural or man made disasters.
Everyone should have portable solar panels and a solar generator, freeze dried meals, canned foods, dehydrated food, water bottles, water filter, toilet paper, baby wipes, propane stove and propane, a fire kit, ponchos, cordage, knife, multi tool, sleeping bag or wool blankets, headlamp with extra rechargeable batteries, first aid kit, over the counter medications and personal medications, cash, walkie talkies or ham radio with extra rechargeable battery, tarp, 55 gallons trash bags.
Sadly, not everyone has access to these items. Especially my family who was affected by the typhoon.
Nothing funny about it. We always come back ,this ain’t the first typhoon to hit us hard.
Getting access to that here is hard. Since we live on an island things are way more expensive because everything is shipped overseas. Unlike the mainland where everything is in one big continent and easy to deliver.
Blud thinks we can afford all of this shit💀☠
If humans didn’t cause global warming, this wouldn’t have happened. This the worst weather the Earth has encountered in its billions of years since formation. The Earth was a peaceful place until we came along. 😢❤❤❤
Lol no
global warming my ass
Guam has a long history of typhoons. Early recordings since the 1600s, long before the industrial age
That's why people need education about climate change...
@@KokoBirdSings I know right I remember when "G.O.D." hit Guam for those of you who still believe in stupid fake Global warming, it's the year Guam was hit by Three yes three super Typhoons, long before any of you nut jobs heard of "Global Warming". Typhoons by the very nature of the Pacific are larger and more powerful then a Hurricane always have been always will be. Notice for all that destruction no one died?
Toilet paper is the most important not water, water is everywhere you can even filter it.
Illogical. You can wash with water and soap.
It's time for Guam to reborn to be come and new American territory
Might want to do little reseach
Billions and Billions of US your taxes have been handed to the govt on Guam for years
It IS a territory.
😢😢
