  • We spent the day exploring Northern Ireland. We stopped in at the Dark Hedges, Giants Causeway & Dunluce Castle. We also visited the Bushmill's Distillery and had some delicious food along the way.
    Northern Ireland
Northern Ireland is a country that is part of the United Kingdom, located on the northeastern part of the island of Ireland. It has a population of around 1.8 million people and covers an area of 13,843 square kilometers.
The capital of Northern Ireland is Belfast, and it is the largest city in the country. Northern Ireland is known for its stunning coastline, beautiful countryside, and rich history, which includes the Troubles - a period of sectarian conflict that lasted from the late 1960s to the late 1990s.
Northern Ireland has a devolved government, which means that it has its own legislative and executive authority, although it is still part of the United Kingdom. The country has a complex political system, with power-sharing arrangements between the main political parties, which are divided along sectarian lines.
Northern Ireland is also known for its vibrant culture, which includes traditional music, dance, and Gaelic sports such as hurling and Gaelic football. It is also home to several historic sites, such as the Giant's Causeway, a natural rock formation that is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and the Titanic Belfast museum, which tells the story of the ill-fated ship's construction in the city.

I hate heights too and those horrible glass elevators, even the steep slopes of the Eden project. It's a feeling of self preservation 🎉

There is an official tour they offer at regular intervals and they lead you down to the area and then you’re free to explore the area. I don’t think you have to take the tour but it’s really well done

Those areas are loyalist...Giants Causeway is UDA and Bushmills is UVF territory.
