Good omens is Neil Gaiman & Terry Pratchet. If you end up not liking Stardust (which I won’t be surprised. That is one of the rare books where the movie is waaaaaaaaaaaay better than the book. Love his writing style hate how we doesn’t understand how to write a plot) but still give Good Omens a chance, Terry Pratchett is awesome and I wonder if that’s why the book is actually awesome! (And the Amazon adaptation was really good too!)
Okay, I think I'm gonna skip out on Stardust. I was told years ago by someone not to bother and that the movie was way better, you are just reaffirming this. Plus I was made aware by a comment here that Neil Gaiman has been recently accused of SA. While I have never read anything from Terry Pratchet, I have only ever heard good things! I may have to check out some of his solo work at some point. Thank you for sharing your experience with the books! 💕
I didn't love the items this month (I think I'm the only person in the universe who has neither read nor watched Lord of the Rings) but the book is sooooo pretty! Definitely made the box worth it for me. Nice video :)

The book is absolutely beautiful this month! Also, Fairyloot did do a special edition of One Dark Window and Two Twisted Crowns (the sequel). They are very nice and both were excellent in my opinion. 🥰

Wow, this is pretty early for OC! My book shipped a couple days ago, but I don't anticipate it until early next week. I figured the bowl would be a lot of people's favorites when I saw it announced. I have them all (except this one, of course) but never use them. I probably should sell them and let someone who really wants them have them. I do like the design though. The bag is at least unique-I've never seen one in a book box before. I've seen people make them but not in a box. Not sure I'd use it either, but maybe if you're hiking/walking somewhere where you don't bring a bigger bag, just need hands free? Key opener-well, not the first time they've done one. It's not my favorite. And keychain/mirror: They've both been done. A lot. Design is ok, but I would've never used it. Hmm, this pin was actually one of their better ones. It didn't even look that janky when you slid it. I've mostly read Gaiman's middle grade books. Coraline and The Graveyard Book are both great. Coraline is VERY creepy, but in a good way and while I've only read The Graveyard Book once, I really liked it and thought it deserved the awards it received. So, I appreciate the nod, though I haven't read the book/seen the show. I do love that cover! Looks like stained glass. The edges are nice! And, don't forget, they said the rest of the year's books will have them! Not sure the summary catches my attention though, vampire ya romance...eh. But, I'm sure I'll see at some point! It does seem like this book should be the October or even September book choice-it's giving fall, spooky, mystery vibes for me. Maybe I'll pick it up then.
For sure! I was so surprised to get my box this early but always would rather have a box early than late. And yes, the bowls are fantastic! My husband uses the bowls a lot when cooking as they are great size for putting ingredients in after chopping them until you are ready to use them in the recipe. Totally understand not wanting to hold on to something that you are not using though. I hope you end up finding a use for them so you can keep them! Exactly my thoughts on the bag initially. However I've been using it just around the house today because I carry my water everywhere with me and it has seriously been helpful because I also tend to carry my book, phone, iPod, and heating pad room to room, lol. Having a whole hand not being tied up carrying my water bottle has been nice! And yeah, bottle opener and mirror have been done, numerous times. Totally fair about the pin. FYI, Neil Gaiman has been accused of SA by multiple women, and the things he did admit to doing are skeevy at best and downright predatory at worst. So you might want to rethink reading his books.
