A lot of people like zinser but iys quite pricey, i use a couple of coats of oil based undercoat which works well too. Happy holidays to you and Jan my friend 🤜🤛🍻😊

Hi Al,
While you're on the topic of 'ceilings', any chance you could do a vid about how to fill in ceiling cracks properly? These things just seem to appear from time to time (!) and I'm not 100% on best way to repair! Anyways, great vid as always, 👍

You could try an oil based undercoat, it might work instead of the stain blocker.
