    Damn! My head is still spinning after watching Kyle's flight. how do you guys do this magic? Well done guys. I have the 570 6S setup with Ikon...never flown it. just tested by a friend. I wake up every morning, and happily sip coffee while watching it sit on my shelf... :)

    I love how you show how configurable the Goblin 570 is... also that's an insane headspeed that kyle flys! He could probably double his flight time if he dropped it a bit!

    As previously said, this is not really a comparison. A fair comparison would be same pilot flying and the two helis running the same head speed and configured as closely to each other as possible

  • @KitariFox

    man, the second flight was pretty intense just watching on youtube, I bet it would really be crazy to see in person. I hope I can get on your level some day, I'm actually just starting out with a little master cp 200 size heli. (or I will be in about 1 more week), but while I wait, I'll just have to settle with some good ol' fixed pitch fun with my phantom doing slow flips high up in the air, or my cheerson cx-10, but pushbutton flips don't really count do they? lol

    Hey Chris - great flying man! I have a quick question. did you change the tail pulley to the 21t as suggested if running 2400 and lower headspeed?
    To those suggesting that the video of Kyle is sped up - you obviously have never seen him fly in person. It's hard to comprehend how he does what he does but it is 100% real.

    Hi Chris. Very nice and talented flying there. I just have a question about your head speed values, how are you calculating them and if motor efficiency is being considered. I am not getting same head speeds with your setup. Thanks

      My setup or Kyle's? I am running a Castle Edge HV120 and Scorpion 4025-1100KV motor on 6s. I have the castle governed at Normal 1950 , Idle 1 at 2200, and Idle 2 at 2400 with stock 21T pinion. Transmitter set at Normal 0,30,30,30,30 Idle 1 at flat 70, and Idle 2 flat 100. Normal mode and Idle one are perfect, Idle 2 I an at 106% on the Castle. It's just about border line so I usually fly Idle 1 mostly but Idle 2 now and then for power climbs etc... Hope this helps?!?

    • @crmodels
      @crmodels  3 года назад

      They don’t make a ready to fly version of a 500 size heli and up. You need to buy all the electronics and build and setup the model yourself. If you don’t how how to build or setup a 550 size heli you shouldn’t be flying a heli of this caliber. One wrong move and it could kill you..

    I am interested in your setup. If I can get 1950, 2200, 2400 it will be great especially for beginner if I can do hovering and basic forward flight at 1950, I will be happy. I am just a little confused, if you're using 4025-1100kv with 87% efficiency and 22.2V with stock 9.8 gear ratio, then I am getting 2167 rpms???how are you getting up to 2400 with stock pulley ? Or is efficiency of motor not included here? Also can that be done with cc 130 edge rather than the 120HV ? Is that applicable to any 1100kv motor regardless of power in watts ?

    Just got my first goblin, Great Kit! made it for 6s with the Scorpion HK4025, noticed shaft is too long and the Flat on the shaft doesnt line up with pulley set screw.
    Do I have the correct motor, if so, wanted to know the precise way to grind the shaft.

    • @crmodels
      @crmodels  10 лет назад +1

      All Scorpion motors come with long shafts and no slots cut out if them. The 4025 is a Very popular 550 size motor and can be used in many different helis. You will need to cut down the shaft and Dremel two flat spots onto the shaft for the pulley screws. There is a page in the manual showing you what you need to do :)

    WHat top speed do these 570 get to?
    Over between 160 - 220 km/h i assume depending on motor torque and head speed?

  • @utterlyexiged
    @utterlyexiged 8 лет назад

    hey chris, how did you get the 2400 head speed?, sounds like your using a castle esc?. with the stock 21t pinion and 9.8:1 gear ratio i can only get to 2130 before the esc gov warns the headspeed is too high. im using the same 1100kv motor.

    • @crmodels
      @crmodels  8 лет назад

      It was awesome at 2400. That was a few seasons ago and I can't remember but I think I had a 23T pinion on it to get that headspeed.
