The similarities of yours and Jen's names don't end there. You could easily call your channel 'Richard Runs Through', your style being very Rhadoesque, with the scattering of minor errors and perfect pronunciation of 'Aargh', wonderful!
I have watched nearly all of your Carcassonne videos over the last week and have thoroughly enjoyed them all. The only downside is that it has cost me dear, having now ordered 10 mini-expansions😊 and the 20th Anniversary edition (to get hold of those Abbotts).
The only query I have is regarding the scoring of farmers. You seem to score fields and not cities. I have always played that the farmer majority is applied to all the separate fields that serve a city so that a city only scores once. Will need to check the rules.
It is getting rarer these days that content creators play a full game so it is a pleasure to watch yours. Great sense of humour and I love your scoring (essential vs MAW). Keep up the great work.

Rahdo's style was a something for me to try out when I first started. It turned out I happened to like doing it so much. And I knew I had to make light of all our names being the same, because I'm already doing a style associated with him. I didn't realize about the "Aargh" pronunciation, though. That's really just me.
Thank you very much for watching my videos! Sorry about your wallet. Though Abbots should be in any base box since 2nd edition (though 20th anniversary should be a nice set (I don't have it)).
As for farmers, the rule is "Each completed city can be worth points for any number of different fields."
I understand that the majority of people click off a video after X amount of time, so some may see it as "unnecessary" to continue on, and I understand that. I can only speak for myself when I say I want to do it all, even if people watch a bit, and then they get a good enough feel, then skip to scoring. I like that option being available. I also appreciate when people do watch a full play through and catch things I miss, because sometimes I really did miss whatever it was and their comment makes me a better player.
Thank you for the kind words!

Your absolutely right Richard. I have only been scoring the farmers wrong since 2010 when I got the first big box! I think I see a little of myself in the short video you put out a couple of days ago as I do tend the one to explain the rules 😂. Kind regards, Simon

This expansion/spinoff is one of the few things I did not buy yet, what do you think about it currently? Worth it or leave it?

That's hard. Mists is supposed to be the cooperative version of Carcassonne, but I've only ever played it as an expansion, so I can't speak to how worth it it may or may not be (so far, anyway). As an expansion, it's enormous. I can only say I like it. The graveyards is what pushes it so high for me. Getting another Meeple during gameplay is something I enjoy so much. The mists are pretty good. They usually break up fields a bunch, so if you're all about getting that big field, it takes work to even get a big one. The castles are meh. Get points for how much mist is surrounding it. And I don't have a big reaction to ghosts.

@@RichardLearnsGames so of course I had to buy this one…just got it in same day and have the rules here with me (German version) I remember one situation where you were uncertain if you should put a ghost on yourself or the opponent first when you expand+limit at the same time. The answer here is put a ghost on an opponent first. Hope it helps in a potential future match ;)

this is what was called in Europe, translated, Carcassonne the mist. Has been out for about a year. But your rule explanation feels strange. Is it some vague expansion of Carcassonne classic?

Yes. This video is a part of an ongoing Carcassonne series that I'm doing. Not only is Mists Over Carcassonne an independent cooperative game, but it also comes with a separate set of rules to make it an expansion for Carcassonne classic, which is what is shown here.
