Ed, you're so fun I would watch you read the news and enjoy it. Going through cool dev stuff is better, though.

Love the ending ha ha ha ..... brilliant x
Nice video, I enjoyed seeing you showcase all of these designs and you have a nice attitude. However there is one thing I feel like pointing out:
You spend 30 seconds from 11:20 saying that the design is exactly the same as the existing creative cloud other than the glass effect. Seriously? It’s a complete redesign to make the app feel like a native macOS app. Everything is slightly changed to make it feel more native, from the sidebar and the top bar being the same component removing the lines between them, to the font, to the search bar being embedded in the title bar with the tabs, etc. every single component is thought over and redesigned to match the new aesthetic.
I wouldn’t say it’s “the same except for the glass effect” and I think saying that is a little shortsighted, and misses the point.
Also and this is unrelated I really wanted you to press that button at 3:53.

I was surprised _jQuery_ was ever a thing. I tried learning it early in my JS learning experience, but it was so hard to understand since a lot of things that was going on was hidden to you, so to me, it wasn't easier, it became harder than vanilla JS.
It was a life saver in the mid 2000s when it was released, mainly down to it solving cross browser compatibility issues. Vanilla javascript was a dumpster fire back then and is nothing like the JS we have now or in the last 5-10 years. jQuery served its purpose in a time when it was needed
jQuery saved millions people back in the time where Javascript was a evil thing.
but now, it’s not necessary to use anymore
Hello Ed your website is offline. We cant access to watch our courses. Any help?
George Francis's one uses PIXI js. It's a 2D canvas rendering library. You were actually really close! He rendered circles and added a blur effect to them. :D

Nope, get into ai, if you're into javascript, tensorflow is a good option
Ayşenur Turk Döktürmüş Yine.
Hello Ed, can you make a tutorial on reactjs with login and signup functionality with email verification, and also with reset password.
Can one do stuff like in no.9 and 7 with CSS only?
Why you hate jQuery, i am Wordpress developer and I use it quite often
Just an idea, but maybe try to make YT's new like button animation? Would love to see how complex it actually is!
where are the links to the codepens in the description?
Another great video! I really like your content. Is it possible to recreate these examples sometime? I would really love that.
They're on codepen which... isn't that exactly what it's for? like... It's all done for you right there.
@@JD2jr. Aha, thank you very much. I will take a look at it. But then, I don't know, it doesn't completely feel like I understand the code that I am using, you know? I just think that Ed can explain it really well and then it just makes more sense to me.
@@maurovanderflaes1323 that's how a programmer's job looks like most of the time. You have to work with code you haven't written and you don't understand it in the beginning. Codepen lets you edit the source code and gives you immediate feedback on the preview so you can play with it and learn. If you don't understand anything maybe it's too early for you to make things of this level of advancement.
@@Devthlete I am currently still a student but I can already code for a few years. So I do know how things go regularly in the job and am already somewhat familiar with codepen. In my previous years, they always taught me to write all the code myself because I often learnt the most from this. I still try to keep this up whenever I learn something new. That's why I had my original question for Ed to explain or build these things step by step. I personally just learn better from him than from the "completely correct code" in codepen. I hope this helps you understand me better with what I mean haha. But thanks for the responses!!!
Love you Ed!
I miss the magic tricks at the beggining of the videos. :(
How can we contact you about your course?
PRO TIP: 10:17 it's an interesting effect, css wise it's called backface-visibility: hidden; but it's a well known parameter in 3D as well, oftentimes referred to as 𝓫𝓪𝓬𝓴𝓯𝓪𝓬𝓮 𝓬𝓾𝓵𝓵𝓲𝓷𝓰.
0:18 well, here it is why i subscribed 😌 life of a …sub

Well done 🙌
Hmmm seems you add very little to the content. You’re simply smiling and nodding at it. Just being a bit goofy adds nothing for people who are designers and developers - new and aspiring. Why not expand and explore the technique and libraries used, instead of getting corrected in the comments.
