What a pity arrangements were not made for them to record a duet. What a much greater pity that Brook Benton only lived to the age of 59. I get depressed just thinking about it. He was a high class gentleman who appealed to high-minded individuals, as is easily discerned from reading the comments associated with the best of his songs, including MORE, MOONLIGHT IN VERMONT, BLUE MOON, CALL ME IRRESPONSIBLE, I COULD HAVE TOLD YOU SO, EVERY TIME I'M KISSING YOU, LOVER COME BACK TO ME, and my all-time favorite, THAT OLD FEELING. It's an outrage that this immortal vocalist has not been honored by being placed on a USA postage stamp.
