When Bruce sing's "The thin line between line between love and hate" I get goosebumps, tears and I don't what his voice is doing to me there. Also the five solos in this track are just amazing by Dave! Such an underrated track.
Totally underrated song. The second half is amazing and probably my favorite section of the album. Bring on Rock in Rio! Even if you can't show the videos you can watch them when reacting. It's a big part of the experience.
Awesome conclusion to an awesome album! Of the reunion era, my absolute favorites are Brave New World, A Matter of Life and Death, and Senjutsu (not necessarily in that order)!!! These three rank as high as any Maiden album and to think that they can pull off such cool sh!t in 2021 on their SEVENTEENTH ALBUM!
This song is a perfect song to me. One that I wish I had written. Brave New World right up there with the classics. It is just that good of an album. Bruce sounds outstanding. The following albums are not as consistent. But there are some crazy good songs here and there from Paschendale (2003) all the way to The Parchment (2021).
Paschendale No More Lies Dance of Death The Final Frontier Coming Home Starblind Talisman The Man Who Would Be King When the Wild Wind Blows Emprire of the Clouds Senjutsu Stratego The Writing on the Wall Death of the Celts The Parchment Hell on Earth
'Brave new world' was the best metal comeback for Iron Maiden... 'Angel of retribution' by Judas Priest was their big reunion album w/ Rob Halford back on vocals 🤘🤘 Faves from this album - 'The Wickerman'... 'The Nomad' ... 'Blood brothers' ... 'Ghost of the navigator'... 'Brave new world'... 🤘🤘
Bruce's vocal is so awesome in this one and obviously Dave's solos in his bluesey style. This is one of my favorites of the BNW album. Just like Blood Brothers it's a heavy ballad but still great as it's not too soft like Out of the Silent Planet.
What a fucking journey this is Herm! epic!... Bruces voice is insane in this track. CANNOT wait for you to see rock in rio and listen to the Blaze songs by Bruce.
This track is all about karma and is a great way to finish off a killer comeback album, accompanied with an equally killer live concert in Rio. That high B that Bruce reaches singing the word 'line' within the song title twice near the end once again shows off his vocal mastery and phenomenal range. Now then....on to the 'Dance of Death!' 👍🤘
Very hard to pick a top 3 from this album, it’s just a solid album from start to finish. This song is one of the competitors for me. Really glad you enjoyed this full album! The full Rock in Rio DVD is on RUclips. If you don’t see this I’ll definitely hit you up in one of your streams to let you know. Can’t wait for that and Dance of Death!
Must have been such a relief to get back into stuff like this. To hear such thick riffs with quality production. This track was partially written by Dave Murray, he had all 5 solos in this song but he doesn’t write very often, I always found it funny how I realized after the fact that my favourite tracks were written by him. This one, Deja Vu, and The Man Who Would Be King.
It's great that you're including Rock in Rio in your program. ''Rock in Rio'' is my favorite live album along with ''Death on the road''. I've been a Maiden fan since February 4th, 1984, well before ''Live After Death''.
My three favourites are: The Nomad' ... 'Blood brothers' ... '.. 'Brave new world' . The whole album is great. For me one of the 3-4 best of the reunion era
A good song but not as good for me as for other people. It has a great chorus and solo. Oddly enough I enjoy the second half of the song most (from 6:25 here) til the end. Best part of song IMO. My Top 4 on this album - Dream of Mirrors Brave New World Ghost of the Navigator Out of the Silent Planet
Top 5 Iron Maiden album for me and sometimes its my favourite. Really difficult to pick top 4 songs, The Nomad is always my favourite on this album but today the other 3 would be Brave New World, Dream of Mirrors and Ghost of the Navigator. Ask me in a month and the answer will be different.
The most consistently great album since 7th son by a country mile! Fav 3 songs are Nomad, Ghost of Navigator and Wicker Man. Very difficult choice though.
Ahh yes, my favorite Iron Maiden song of all time before Hell on Earth came along, but it's still one of my top 3, what a powerful and emotional closer man 🤘. I can't wait for Rock in Rio, tbh that's my favorite live album from Maiden cause it has BNW songs 😏.
Dang Crazy, Hell on earth? Don't see the fascination that one but many really like it. A lot like When the wild Wind Blows in parts. This song is good but not in my top 40. My favorite live album is Live After Death, but then I love the golden age of Maiden.
Hes back for another reaction👍, bit long this but it's great, Glad your gonna do the Rock in Rio DVD👍, Next PLEASE react to the Maiden England DVD Ohh it's fantastic 🤘🤘🤘
A Dave Murray banger his solos are outstanding and Nick’o at the end or I fxxxxxx miss it brilliant 🤩 only on bad song on the album which is Out Of The Silent Planet the rest of them are all my favourites but gun to my head has to be the Nomad
The great thing about this album is that you can make a case for every single song being one of the best of the album. I would go with: The Nomad, Dream Of mirrors and Ghost Of The Navigator.
I’m a bit surprised that you loved this one but didn’t feel the same way about judgement of heaven. This song sounds like a remake with alterations to me. Maybe you’ll revisit The X Factor at some point and change your feelings about the album as a whole.
This song will grow on you with time and experience. It is really beautiful melodically and quite unexpected from Iron Maiden. Senjutsu is by far the best Metal album in the past 3 years. I really love it but I want you to base your expectations correctly. It is not close to any Classical Maiden by any means.

What's nice about this song is that it's totally unusual for Maiden. The structure, the melody etc. Also a huge tribute to the 70s :)
Doug Helvering also reacted to it and was very impressed. I agree the song is musically very interesting.
Not a favorite of mine but oddly I liked the second half of song which is weird since I'm not into prog metal from Maiden.
Great reaction dude!!!
The next Album "Dance of Death" is so Epic too.

Beautiful song
Awesome tune! Bruce sounds amazing on this one. Great lyrics! Last few min are amazing!
Nice way to end strong!
Glad you enjoyed this album, Herm!
Agree, second half of song very good.
What a fucking journey this is Herm! epic!... Bruces voice is insane in this track. CANNOT wait for you to see rock in rio and listen to the Blaze songs by Bruce.
I can't wait myself!

Damn it. This is one of my favorites. I forgot how awesome this song is!

I would go with: The Nomad, Dream Of mirrors and Ghost Of The Navigator.
1: The Wickerman
2: The Thin Line
3: The Nomad
The next album, 'Dance of Death' Is the best in the New millenium
I’m a bit surprised that you loved this one but didn’t feel the same way about judgement of heaven. This song sounds like a remake with alterations to me. Maybe you’ll revisit The X Factor at some point and change your feelings about the album as a whole.
I'm not. One is a great song, the other isn't.
This song will grow on you with time and experience. It is really beautiful melodically and quite unexpected from Iron Maiden.
Senjutsu is by far the best Metal album in the past 3 years. I really love it but I want you to base your expectations correctly. It is not close to any Classical Maiden by any means.
Please, before react next Iron Maiden Album "Dance of death", you should react DVD Rock in Rio 2001 from Brave New World Tour
👎 except the chorus
...actually just 👎 to verses and pre chorus
