I should say, it sounds not that right to cost 30k rupees a month to maintain six bulls. That means 5k rupees a month for a bull. Occasional vet consultations and medicine may be needed, but it is highly unlikely a regular cost. I am assuming their primary need is their food and in a country where grass and leaves they eat are abundantly available cheaply or for free, it makes no sense unless the bull safari owner has been feeding his bulls basmati rice and curries every day, in which case bull will die soon from the unnatural diet. if the 30k number is true, then that businessman should consider something else for his living. Also it indicates these people's ethical and moral standards when they end up selling the bull to the slaughterhouse for meat when they can't continue their business. Such people deserve to lose their businesses and starve and lose their properties for the treatment of the animals like that. It is a stupid use of a good bull. These tourism dependent people need to wake up and find ways other than tourism to support themselves. IMHO, the temporary collapse of the tourism is a good thing. I've seen what happened to the Sinhajara rain forest thanks to tourism. Too many wants to go there to disturb the natural flora and fauna. Country's leader recently built a road across the smaller part of the rain forest using his power to help the tourism businesses near there that are run by his friends and family. This is how the tourism has helped the country's economy. It is a good thing the tourism industry collapsing for good because people in these regional areas have been becoming too dependent on tourists to make a living. It is a pathetic as well as a concerning trend that need to come to an end. If people cannot use tourism as a side income not a main income it is better tourism industry die for good. Since the early 1980's economic changes, this tourism industry has brought in a lot of problems to this country. I am happy to see tourism industry dying for good even though it creates enormous economic pressure on poor people in those areas.
I am not too sorry to express my opinion and knowledge this way because I've seen and experienced these tourism businessmen and most of them are not ethical or morally straight people. They deserve to go broke if they've built their lives based on tourism industry because they've already lost their self respect. On the other hand people who simply make a side income from tourism who lost that side income as well as their main income due to covid-19, then they deserve sympathy, empathy and assistance.
