Just a suggestion, but during the times when end up commenting on a scene. Instead of having the audio playing in the background muted, I would pause it and when you resume it, I would go back like 15 seconds or so. It’s something I noticed a lot of reactors started doing in the off chance they might miss a Joke or something
Everything changed because it had a new director: Alfonso Cuarón. The first two movies were directed by Chris Columbus.
I kinda wish we could have seen your reaction to the Pitch Meeting of Pitch Meetings. That was a super special episode for all the fans. I suppose it wouldn't hit as hard with someone who's only seen a few of them.
BTW I need you to get all the way off my back about the plot holes and inconsistencies in Harry Potter 🙃
In the name of truth, though, the films made some truly bizarre choices.
You also forgot to mention that the black robes from prior movies are replaced with day-to-day clothes, it was jarring for me, in that one.
You should checkout the honest trailers for these movies as well. Very funny as well. Honest trailers did pitch meetings 300 episode
The scene that bothered me in this movie was the boggart scene showing the moon with clouds and everything. IIRC, in the book, it was just described as a silvery/white orb, and the reader wasn't explicitly told that it was the moon.

Remembering back 20 years, it seemed like the production wanted to go to Check Republic for future filming to save production costs. Daniel Radcliffe parents were against having their son in that location due to distance and the local sex trade. So hilly Scotland was chosen instead. I hope that is mainly true, memories were not saved in my house.
Another weird movie choice: In the book, Snape is still knocked out when Remus changes into a werewolf, Peter escapes and Sirius decides to turn into a dog and fend off Remus and help Harry. Then the Dementors come and Harry has to be saved by his future self. In the movie, Snape (whose purpose at this point is to protect the students) actually revives in time to see all this and he stays behind with Ron and Hermione when Harry runs off to find Sirius. So, my question is - what the heck was Snape doing that entire time Harry and Sirius were being attacked by Dementors? He didn't go to help them. I can only assume other Dementors were keeping him busy?
??? And he had to ward them off of Ron and Hermione? Did the movie address this? I forget, it's been a while.
It's snape dude, dealing with even one dementor as snape would be a nightmare since you need happy memories to fight them
@@holahola-ym1xv I just want to know what he was doing that whole time as, obviously, he wasn't helping Harry. (Besides, in the book, didn't he imply he had his own way of dealing with Dementors? He told Harry a Patronus WASN'T the best way to deal with them, but then the book never said what that was).
@@mythra7174 Well to be honest I've never read Harry Potter books, and i was just joking really about how sad Snape's life probably was lol
@@holahola-ym1xv Heh, heh, yeah. So the books never clarified what Snape's method was for dealing with Dementors, and the movie never clarified what the heck Snape was doing the whole time Harry (He Who Must Be Protected) was fighting said Dementors.
@@mythra7174 He probably used his time with Lily to fight the dementors, but obviously it would have been way more difficult to do that since he had so little of those memories, though did he imply that his way of dealing with dementors was equal or somehow an even better way to how others would deal with them? maybe some kind of potion cuz he's the potion teacher, or maybe a spell that he invented? idk tbh, I'm kind of dumb in Harry Potter stuff
They didn't use the Veritaserum or memory spell because the former death eaters had them banned from use on prisoners, so that they wouldnt get found out. The time turners weren't used because they were all destroyed in book five.
And no one thought to use one in book 4?
@@MrWhatdafuBOOM They're kept in the untouchable section of the ministry, and doing so would be unbelievably dangerous, even if the ministry wanted to believe Harry was right.
That was never mentioned in the Books or the movies.
