Amazing what you can do with just one gold piece in this game, especially for free to play players. Was not expecting this method to be such a good money maker for just 1 hour of trying it. Had a blast making this challenge, hope some of you try it!

Just checked the GE tracker, pink skirts plummeted the day this video was released
TheMrFailz Flipping shop stock has been around for a long time, and will probably never die. Individual item prices fluctuate, obviously, but flipping pink skirts is not its own method. Just look at the market and figure out what’s currently profitable
Yeah wait like 2 months it'll be back
makes sense
TheMrFailz the method doesn’t die forever though. Once this video is older and reached past it peak it will be better.

I made money by baking food and making wine, and going down into that dungeon and selling the stuff to the grinders who needed the hp
I also started way back then and made my first million with cooked lob certs and coal mining. Also mined rune ore and had a friend going for 99 smithing who would make me r2h's to resell. Good old days...

This is such a cool idea. I'm still learning how best to use the grand exchange. Didn't think about different worlds.
why do all that when I could just say "doubling" and get 10k in 2 seconds
The thing I don't like about these videos is the "oh I could try that! I really need money!" *tries* *method doesn't work because it's on youtube* *cries*
pink skirts have a constant demand, because an OSRS event group exists called "the pink skirts" and everyone wears the skirt to the event, wait a few days for the initial surge of merchers the video resulted in get bored, and then it'll work again :P

Fyi: the account needs to be older message will not disappear until you have 7 quest points.
You can also have, I think, 24 total played hours in game, might he 48, but quest points aren't the only way.
7 qp OR 24 hours in-game
I’m pretty sure it’s 18 hours of gameplay.

Thank you for proving that there's zero reason to beg!
I remember people begging when feathers were selling for like 15gp each. Literally anyone could make enough money for full rune armor in a day.
So, I apologize as I normally dont subscribe to people (unless under certain circumstances), but i wanted to drop a major like, and a comment. Your video was absolutel y marvelous, and entertaining as hell to watch. The whole concept of the video was great, and the fact that you were doing it for F2P players as well was pretty cool. Thanks for these tips, I'm definitely going to try this out one day.
Every osrs beggar need to see this RUclips video so they stop annoying the hell out of ppl
I don’t know if this is a good idea or not, but taking advantage of power trainers is a great way to power train yourself or stock up. The runes I did and I would like to do again with more money. You can buy them down to 4750 for elemental. Chao, I would buy down to 130. All death. Mind down to 4700. Body down to 4340. Buying runes (not packs) will net more profit per rune, but will require more world hopping. I would also suggest to start this in numerical order (organize worlds, start at 300 and go up).
Lul if only i knew this method back in 2006... i was such a complete noob. I would just grind men and women in lumbridge, till i earned 1200 gp, go to varrock sword shop, buy a mithril long, then head to the chickens, cook 28 of them and just go and die in the wilderness. Rinse repeat.
Then i noticed how people hit for 10+ while i could only hit 7 with my mith long, and i just gave my account to a pker that killed me with the promise that he could make it hit 10s.
That was the last time i saw my first account. 13 years later, i still miss those days. The game was so mysterious and fun. Now, i know everything and the magic of the game is long gone.
Now that i think about it, there was no ge back then, sigh.
Lofi/chill beats to study/relax/merch to
Get tinderboxes from the murder mystery mansion south of lumbridge, you have to drop them and then pick them up at the end
I respect your rags to riches videos, reminds me of the struggles back then when I first started playing as well lmao.
I used to use this strategy. Just buying from shops is so boring but quite profitable
seeing that green bar on an item is just so satisfying for some reason, awesome game
The account age is quest points. I made a new OSRS acct for mobile and couldn't sell oak logs for like a week. Someone in my RS3 clan told me you had to have 7 quest points to sell or trade certain itmes.
I love little challenges like this.
I have not played rs since the eoc update but omg im getting so much nostalgia
lol i knew about pink skirts for over a year now or more. sadly when i found it i wasn't a noob or poor, however i found it hilarious and thought it needed to be cheaper for how easy it is to acquire. thanks for killing it :) not even sarcastically.
1:47 investing in the share market i see
Takes me back to that guy that did "one red bead" back in the day with the imp bead, trading players

Though you can easily beg 100k on a good day in a decent server with a great personality in wayy less than an hour.
Help I can't figure out how to have good personality. I thought I was doing it all right in the People Interaction department playing Runescape nonstop in my cave, but it doesn't seem to work.
I don't know, just do you I guess..
I give 500k to people without battering an eye lid just becuase they make me laugh and smile at least once a day

I always bought up jugs, buckets, and vials. Filled them up with water and sold them.
Bucket of water sold for about 30 gold. Vial of water sold for about 20 gold, and jug of water for about 25 gold.
The vials were always available on the Grand Exchange for next to nothing
so you have inspired me to do this challenge BUT i want to do it as a competition with a friend. next time he gets on we will be doing this and the winner will get to keep the profits :)
The empty beer glass sells for more... Sometimes it's helpful to check other statuses of items.
Actually love tf out of these videos.
Buying rope in Draynor can turn a good profit if the market is in the right place. You buy for 25 coins and rope sometimes goes for 80+ in G.E. it's a pretty simple way to triple your money
ive bought rope on multiple occasions on G.E for like 5k because it wouldn't buy for lower and i was to lazy to go buy one in a shop lol
The beer method I did as a joke with a friend when I first got back into osrs, back when they only went for 50gp. Still made mad profit for a lvl 3 in a couple hours.
Should've just paused timer, and did 2 quick quests to be able to sell everything.
As soon as I discovered Lletya that one elf village members only with the flax just sitting right outside the bank, I spent a stupid amount of time getting 10K flax, then went out and turned it all into flax string, then sold it all, got myself a few million. This was about 10 years ago though
There's another way where if you get these blue beers, the wizard bombs, from that one bar in Falador, those actually sell. But going through all the dialog is tedious
that chilledcow in the background
As a child I was lured down that hole in Falador and extinguished my candle. A bunch of bugs killed me in seconds.

Runescape hits hard, friends. Or at least, it used to. Life lessons were taught and learned..usually the hard way.
I got a black armor set from a nice player and my poor ass got scammed by a trimming scammer literally within the hour. One nice player and then some prick, oh the good old days
Back in the day when you could get away with being a Rouge class character and scam/steal your way to the top. Teach a man to mine and you'll make hime upper class, Teach him to scam and you'll make him a Kingpin!

@@Mightybro675 yes man I know but you would be surprised how much you can make there. There's not really much you can do to make money f2p other than merching and mining.

There is no excuse to beg for money in this day and age
When I make new accounts I buy a bond for it (3m) and I'll turn it into 500m in a month easy
I do this all the time. Stick to tinderboxes, hammers and blue skirts when you start
This just proves that if you take the time you can actually make money without shortcuts
Haha ima do this to relive the nostalgia.. Will just cut the standard boring skilling since im starting out again but instead make money like this and merch all the way
jfc the GE changes things. I'm just picturing being in middle school again standing in the Falador garden typing "SELLING PINK SKIRTS!!!"
Its a lot easier to profit in GE time and money-wise now than tirelessly posting in the forums, or spending half an hour spamming chat for your water jug sales.
well jeeze, my money making method before the economy was ruined was chopping yew logs that granted a good bit of money 30k a full inv. i think if i remember correctly, i don't even know what to do to make money now in days XP
lol, was this video made yesterday ? cuz we were pkin with clan, so one guy had lots of pink skirts :D

“Im gonna put my money on the shizzle here” ITS CH IS EL lmfao
Unless he's Snoop Dogg
This explains why I bought a pink skirt for only 50 gp the other day
Hey this was a cool video, very interesting.
I forget what my original OSRS method was for money, I think it was farming for feathers nonstop selling stacks of like 10,000 for however much, but I do know Fletching got me a fuck ton in the R3, like I'm talking 300k in an hour
well the most easy way to make money fast thank you GE to did it
I dont want to look down on your Runescape players, but what is the meaning, goals etc. of Runescape? I'm just interested
To have fun like, all the videogames.
In a lot of ways there is no meaning or goals. Like, ultimately, there's far too much to 100% or "complete" to be able to do it as one person unless you have no job, so the experience is really defined by how *you* want to play and the goals that you set for yourself. If you can set your own goals and let your mind accept that as a good experience, then the game can be incredibly rewarding. Not for everyone though, I suppose.
you can do much more money by buying stuff from sword shop
Now pink skirts don't even sell for 20gp each on GE, literally every time a youtuber leaks a gold making method it dies
Pink skirts are valuable because you need them for prince Ali rescue
I don't play RS anymore but I enjoyed the video
Uploads like this make me miss rune
Man I freaking love you
u forgot 1 thing :) fill the jug with water if u buy them it sells for more then the jug itself
when I first made my account I just would hang around the GE and wait for drop parties and that's how I made my first couple mil I would like to see a vid on that lol
They don't happen much anymore
Never seen a more accurate name.
one trick I use to use was buying staffs. I think it was the air and water staff that made a profit from the shop. I mean it wasn't a lot ( like 200 gp ) but if you were trying to get battle staffs also it was worth it plus you could report bots at the battle staff shop
Would you remake this video, but simulate RS pre-GE at any time?
7:56 inventory four number done
You forgot about the regular battlestaves from zaff. They're used for crafting
its f2p
Try buying climbing boots for 1 hour. They buy for 12 each and sell for 600-900 gp each with 4 min per inv.
Last time I sold stuff from the staffshop it was actually the old regular staff that gave a 4k profit each
You already made more money in an hour here and what I ever owned than my 8 year old self did banking and selling mining to fund his magic.
You should make a "can you complete runescape without touching a coin?"
I should have done that when i found 57k behind Lumbridge Castle. Could probably have made a nice profit of that
The Art of the Deal
I wanted to sell cowhides and I got the same "you cannot sell that shit" message, apparently you need a specific amount of quest points before selling these items
This vid should be required viewing for all noobs standing around the GE begging.
I would have started with the tinderbox myself. I've seen them sell for 100-200 gp on the GE before. I was surprised at how little you got for it.
Sadly seeing as this is 20 some days since this video aired I'm pretty sure pink skirts don't go for that much anymore...
Awesome little find though.
Potsu is the original artist of this music
This is the same money making method as ff14. Its soooo smart tbh. Buy low from vendors sell high on the market. People are just lazy and would rather buy everything in 1 place than look for it somewhere else.
