+Martijn V Thanks for the reply. I finally received my NodeMCU dev board today and was able to flash EspLightNode and get it onto my network. Unfortunately, I can't seem to get any output on my LED strip. I'm using a WS2812b strip, so it's only 1 data wire, no clock. I have it on GPIO0 (D3), but am not sure if that's right. I was curious if you were using a 3-wire or 4-wire LED strip? If 3-wire, any pointers as to what my issue might be? If not, I'll see if I can email Franz... Thanks!
+Martijn V So, I tried the github.com/sfranzyshen/esp8266_tpm2net_ws2812 firmware instead and it is now working/receiving data on my test strip of 20 LEDs. Have to wait for my new soldering iron the show up tomorrow before I can test anything larger. Thanks again!
no i am also using 3 wire ws2812b leds but i am using a esp8266 esp-01 so only 2 outputs but it should not realy mather what esp you use
Ziet er goed uit! Wanneer zijn ze te koop? :-p
What software are you running on the ESP8266?
Is this battery powered? Is it all running off USB?
nope battery powerd but usb will work fine
