Pete's plastic surgery was done for pure vanity reasons at first (correct a broken nose from his punk days) and ended up being part of his body dysmorphia. Poor choice of plastic surgeons and not knowing when to stop.

Pete had to make the best of it. It was not his intention to ever look like that. And he's not gay. He's happy being man. His wife of 28 yrs loved him for who he was inside and Pete loves a person's soul not the gender.
