Have you felt like the longer you take it, the more it continues to improve your condition or only as much as your first doses? And do you have tolerance issues?

Then, little by little, it all starts to turn bad. Say, the police show up and they're looking for you, but they don't see you, and you're watching it all transpire while trying to make your escape... If I take too much taurine, I have dreams like this continuously until I get up and just give up on sleeping.

I've been using Taurine tablets for two years. It boosts energy and confidence. Downside is just one- my eyesight got worse, especially in morning after the day I drank tablet. Stopped using it, but I miss that booster. My eyesight got back after a week of abstinence.
You could take astaxanthin and maybe beta carotene for your vision. It seems like astaxanthin sharpened mine a little after I had a lense put in after cataract surgery. (I didn't have a before and after test.)

Yes it does and this is why I am doing my research. I cannot understand why, but it distorts my mind and makes me feel depressed and like I’m sort of floating. I think that’s dangerous, because I know I’m not the only person who has had this specific issue with Taurine, and it could be possible for it to lead someone to possibly harm themselves or worse. There’s got to be more to the ingredient information than just an amino acid from food proteins because from what I’ve read it is that most energy drinks use a synthetic type taurine and not the natural taurine you will find in food proteins. So it’s possible it’s more of a molecule or a chemical compound. Therefore something just isn’t right with it at all.

This might come from the lower blood pressure! Even if you are in medical blood pressure reducer most people describe a low energy etc. Check you’re blood pressure and if it to high try taurine again! The boost needs a couple of weeks to get used to a healthy blood pressure

I think that's probably why it made me feel so terrible. Taking something for sleep that actually boosts energy didn't really make sense to me in the first place because I knew this was something that's found in preworkout and energy drinks for the purpose of increasing energy. I'm still not quite sure why it's recommended for sleep. Yeah I felt like it helped me sleep but maybe the actual sleep quality wasn't good.

Most of the amino supplements are a little sketchy, anyone who is optimistic should keep researching until they find info on the side effects, etc. Taurine is the only exception to this rule, I think its probably the safest.
People are a lot better off getting amino acids from food sources IMHO. But if there are any supplements worth taking, a high quality vegan or grass-fed whey protein, organic chlorella and/or spirulina are much safer and provide all essential and non-essential amino acids the human body needs especially for older and more active people.

Are you kidding me. I had severe insomnia, anger and stress issues but the moment I started taking taurine I started feeling a lot more relaxed. It has a mild sedative effect and can make you drowsy if taken during the day, but to be honest the feeling of calmness and rest you get by consuming it is truly amazing.
