When using the converter, make sure you keep the "snipping radius" as close to the badge as possible. Hopefully that helps!

Its a dark gold, im not sure bout hex colour but its between yellow and brown a dark gold I just used the slider.

u have to make sure that u save the same size and crop around the same size too if u crop a bigger field the logo will be smaller and vice versa

make sure u have aspect ratio or whatever turned off and make sure you're resizing the image you got from the photo editor and make sure its smaller than the original. Remember sizes are 72x72 36x36 and 18x18. IF you need any more help I'll go through it again myself and try and figure out the issue with you!
