If you need help with coming up with some nicknames for some of the Nightmare's then you could use the one's i've come up with and since dreamtale and most of it's AUs are supposedly is set in the 1400-1500's, with Joku canonly stating the twins are spanish and in that time frame, they spoke only latin (as far as im aware) it would only seem fit to use latin words for names/nicknames in my opinion so here they are: for NAJ Nightmare a nickname could be Vesperi while his brother could be named Aurora, meanings; Evening and Dawn..Human Nightmare could be nicknamed Umbra and his brother nicknamed Lumine, meanings; Shadow and Light but Umbra could also be interpreted as Shade and last but not least for Reset Dreamtale Nightmare it could be Restart since RTD!Dream is referred to as Reset for his nickname by many people but if you dont want Reset and Restart as their nicknames then you could choose Nocens and Dimitte which mean; guilty and demise or Votum and Aurum..meaning; wish/wishful and gold/golden or instead of Aurum, if you don't like that nickname then you could use Tenebris, meanings; dark/darkened/darkness..they all should be obvious as to why they were chosen based off the meanings except for maybe the last five so i'll explain those; Originally in the drafts of the Reset Dreamtale comic, RDT Nightmare was portrayed as being heavily implied to be remorseful, regretful, horrified and scared of what his twin had become and very reluctant to fight or hurt him so it would make sense for him to feel *guilty* (Nocens) for causing his twin to be this way and *wishful* (Votum) for the his old self back, Dimitte (Demise) as a nickname would be suited for RDT Dream because of the two canon endings of this timeline which both endings makes *one* of them die in the final script of the comic so it is either Dream's demise or Nightmare's..Aurum because not only is RDT Dream's attire mostly *golden* and black (as far as I'm aware) but for three other reasons; 1. He most likely had/has what is called *golden* child syndrome and is placed on a *gold pedestal* because of his title and his previous kindness so it would be easy for him to manipulate and trick others with this status combined with his previous behavior and acting skills, 2. Positivity is often associated with the colour yellow, gold, and in some places orange and 3. in his twisted mind, doing what he's doing is granting the twins a *'perfect ending'* because the second ending was originally planned with RDT Dream killing RDT Nightmare and then himself 'n what colour has always been associated with perfection? Gold, so it makes sense to me..and last but not least, the nickname Tenebris because RDT Dream had befallen into an obviously *dark* (Tenebris) state of mind.
