Hello. Thanks for the vlog. I will go to St Croix in fabruary 2025. It will be my first time to the V.I. I am sooo looking forward to it. I have a question, is it ok for me to drink the water? I am from Sweden. Is it safe to drink coffee at bars and restaurants due to the water? Hope to learn more about the island of St Croix.

(1) No, you can’t drink tap water. You will need to buy bottled water or if you’re staying for a longer time, you might reconsider buying a big gallon and have it refilled when it’s done. Refilling stations can be found in supermarkets like “Plaza East” and “The Market.” Even the smaller ones have them
I believe. I think it’s cheaper than buying a pack of bottled water although that has been our practice at home. We buy like 3-4 packs of bottled water. Depending on the place you’re staying, they might have a system in place to distill tap water so you can safely drink it, but when you’re out and about, you need to buy water.
(2) Bars and coffee shops are safe here. You don’t have to worry about the water situation when you’re out partying or having coffee.
