  • So I meticulously analyzed all hologram versions of the bosses in the current version of Wuthering Waves (1.0)

    The single biggest thing that made the Mourning Aixe, besides learning all the parries, was realizing that if you fail to parry any moves, he will do the triple missile attack as a follow up 100% of the time. So if I ever panic rolled a parry move, I just back up and dodge it instead of being caught off guard.

      Yeah i always go two steps back if i instinctively dodge the grabs. I think what makes him hard that its combo can be any move out of nowhere. the deadliest for me is the up close instant grab thing

      @@SemiCologne yes that quick grab leads to the missile attack but it’s good to note that if your dodge instead of parry there is like a solid 5-6 seconds of end lag on it for free damage.

    Some extra tips for Tempest Mephis 12 through 14
    For 12, you can figure out the timing by looking at it's left foot and dodging a split second after it reaches it's highest point. That or by dodging 1 second after the lightning flashes red. Takes a bit of practice.
    For the 13, dodge after the flash in it's hand disappears, though I usually just go by feel when it comes to this move
    And 14, when it jumps, lightning flashes three times on your head. 2 purple and 1 red, dodge after a split second when it flashes red, better to also look at the boss along with it and not just the lightning effect

    It's often best to Parry if you can than dodge if you have a choice. Parry gives 20 Concerto while Dodging gives only 10. Parry ends a moveset and allows for DPS as well. Best luck everyone.

      Another thing is if the move can be parried, you can do both options via animation cancels. Try to parry first and then immediately use dodge to follow-up. That way, if in case the attack isn't parried, then the dodge will still save you from the attack.

      Especially for Mephis where parrying means getting rid of clones, and the more you dodge instead of parry the more he does his two aoe stall moves with his clone appearing on the next rotation.

      For Impermanence Heron #1 - Cyclones: just dodge before the feather's turn color white.

    You'll need to revisit the Monkey's moveset on Challenge 6. The extra mini monkey attackers extend a lot of the combos.

    Mourning aix gonna get my hair bald before i could clear it
    The difficulty difference between monke and mourning aix, making monke fight feels like a joke to me

      It's the so-called slow debuff mourning nix inflicted that really annoyed me. It literally a debuff that disable you of everything... can't sprint, can't dodge, can't use ultimate/skill, can't switch... can only walk or parry if you lucky getting parriable attack after that

      @@twitzmixx8374 more like discourage dodging. I remember dodge every attack but still get debuff nonetheless. I mean I don't mind the slow debuff, but at least don't disable dodge when only dodge and parry are the only mean to avoid damage.
      Even in any soul-like games, I never face boss whose debuff is disabling dodge entirely... either Kuro nerf the boss debuff or add food or potion that can increase resistance or cleanse this busted debuff

    For the monkey:
    Lingyang can ignore the log stomps while on his forte state, and during the log spin you can atually just jump and glide to float above the attack

    mephis whnever u can, always parry. clone will dissapear for a moment. try to dodge? u will keep spamming dodge and get oneshotted lmao 😂

    I wonder if they forgot to add parry indicator on aix when it does some of its moves. How am I supposed to know that you can do that?

      If the ring is small, thats hard to parry.. Thats why its better to dodge.

      The parry indicator blend with it color pallet so its very hard to see it

      I dont think it was mentioned in this video but, the tutorial book in the game specifies that type of parrying. they didnt forget to add it, special boss moves where the eyes glow red for abit before an attack can be parried / or blocked by specific echos. hope that helps u in the future.

      ​@@iScreamKunbut I heard if you dodge aix moves, you'd get punished by a debutf that disable you of everything. The most bullshit debuff I ever encounter, heck even in darksoul there's no debuff that disable your dodge
