Great interview by Nick! Obviously Thady can't talk like his dad but few can! Nick kept it moving along brilliantly and made it it interesting as usual.
Thady has turned out to be a bigger version of John himself. The potential is there for all to see. Served his time abroad and wasn't handed on a plate. Very humble and sociable. He sees himself as part of a team and has a wide perspective on the nuances of the whole operation. Winner alright, winner alright !!
Of course he was handed it on a plate, he's not training from his own stables, attracting his own owners, employing his own staff,if that's not being handed it on a plate I don't know what is.
Go get yourselves some horses and train them instead of hating on the young man. If you were in his position you would take the opportunity given to you. Straight haters
He will do right to remember, as he so graciously pointed out that all the work and sweat that went into the success of the Clarehaven yard is down to many people and many years of other peoples efforts. I think only an incompetent fool could cock this gig up. (Matt Chapman excepted). Thanks dad. BTW; Do you know how hard it is to stable a horse at Clarehaven my fellow racing enthusiasts? If you are not an already a successful owner like Neilson, a stud like Cheveley Park, or a prince like Khalid Abdullah , or a known rich musical impresario like Lloyd Webber, you will struggle. With that line-up how much do you think the weekly fees are?
hi nick real news this week curran shocked after bha prevents heavily backed aces full from running at exeter dose this mean the bookmaker as the power to stop your bet at any one time and all the thousands of bets though out the country mase fixing comes to mind war room stuff not good for racing
Deeply unimpressive he's basically joint licence holder so the owners stay with him when is dad retires. Essentially another posh boy getting a leg up.
Will he not learn from his Dad? To he honest he will have all the facilities and best horses unlike other trainers. I don't think Thady can help how he was brought into racing.

He's hardly struggling along as a permit holder

We would if our dad was a multi millionaire like John Gosden.
Alan, why don't you ask Thady to get himself some horses and go train them?Thady doesn't have to take the easy route does he?

Nothing like his father but reminds me very much of Henry Cecil in his manner.
Good luck thady 👍
Theory of everything looked good
That interview was to long and taxing on the boy .Obviously he could not answer those questions yet..
Well he shud able to be if he wants to be a trainer
Son of two active Tories, don’t hate him, he is just simply a product of class and privilege and nepotism, racings’ own Tim Nice-butt-dim

Train plenty. Good luck.
that was hard work

Connected nepotism knows no bounds in the deeply parochial sport of horse racing.
Perhaps you'd have benefitted from a caring father.
Silver 🥈 spoon 🥄 job 😏
Tory boy Thady
Calls his dad by his first name say plenty about his character doesn't it
Alot of bitter comments on here. All the best thady
Obviously 😮
why on earth do they feel the need for a selection of pastries?
Those pastries are plastic and not from Greggs!

Another one that had it handed to him on a plate!
With all your great betting successes surely you are going to leave your children millions would you like everyone to have the same opinion of them ?
@@Shadai929 😂😂😂
Still no guarantee he will be a success, dumb response of yours.
@@Shadai929 he divorced his wife and children to avoid such a thing
How do you think WIllie Mullins learnt his craft only from his father Paddy who trained for over fifty years.
😂
George Boughey is going to very top as a trainer,on his own merit too, slim thady is not.

@@Dwayndibb he will only have the best horses while his father's training alongside, why would owners give an unproven trainer top horses?
