I grew up without my dad and man I never thought I'd ever had him in my life! Believe me Ivan I Remember Everything the shit I went through because of not having a positive father/father figure as a child growing up and I know that it isn't easy and I do plan to have kids of my own!
For all parents in this world who have kids, take care of them who hear and what they see !!!!

I can't figure it out but this song has always made me cry
It's about a person who was abused as a child and he didn't stick up for his siblings when his drunken father started beating on them as well, he ended up loosing his siblings because of it when they became adults. I forgot to mention that he also internalized the abuse and started believing he was a bad person.

I used to relate this song to my own life, and always listened to it when I was down. This song has made me think about my past, and my future. But thankfully, I got through what I was going through. Everytime I hear it, it brings tears to my eyes. But I think about how far I've come, and realize that 5FDP has helped me through so much.

every time i listen to this song i cry. not tears of sadness, but joy. it reminds me of how i feel in my family, and everything my parents have done for me, which i am very thankful for. and iv always felt like a shit older brother to my siblings. cuz i always isolate myself from them, and the only thing we seem to do is fight. which only makes it worse since they look up to me. i love both of them and my parents. i just can't seem to make it up to them.

I'm 21 and have been able to relate to this song almost as long as I can remember
Reminds me of my grandpa. Now don't get me wrong, I wasn't close to my grandpa, too. We never had so much bonding, except the time he took us out on a drive just for gas. But I still love him nonetheless though I can't say the much to my grandma since she nags and complains way too much. I still love her but I'm not sure if I can do that. Same goes to my sister who I didn't take seriously and my brother who I hated. I still love my mother and my aunt. I still love my family even if they keep blabbering too much but these days, I'm not sure if I can still love them since I don't care about them anymore.

This song hits me as hard as a bullet train and turns me into a blubbering mess every time for many reasons i had issues with being bullied and that gave anger issues and had a tendency of lashing out Not to mention many other psychological issues and I Didn’t want to do it but I couldn’t control myself But one day moved from fort Atkinson to Platteville and I was given a chance to to have a second chance but I had to cut ties with some people who were friends with me there and especially a girl I grew close to and I’m still haunted by my past actions and I wanna forget about them but like the song says “I remember everything” I know I will never get forgiveness or be able to apologize to them from those from fort but I strive for redemption but I hate myself for wanting forgiveness and apologize to them after everything they did to me that’s another reason this song hits me so hard and much like the song says “I remember everything” and I remember everything that happened to me and will never forget what they did
