Thank you for showing us how to use the gallery wire without soldering. I bought some a while ago but never conquered the soldering. I can’t wait to try this technique!!!!
This is the first gallery wire, wire wrapping combination I have seen. It is very clever and beautiful. You could use the back of a stainless steel spoon to push over the tops and do a final burnish. Just drag it over the tips and the stone. It won't scratch the stone or the meta tips. Can't wait for next time. See y'a! 😷⚒
What a hoot! I just ordered some gallery wire last week to do something similar. I haven’t gotten mine yet. But I appreciate you doing it first! Thanks!
Love this one … I kept my wires straight through the initial attachment of the gallery wire … and used 26g round wire instead of 24g half round … it worked fine but the half round probably would have looked better
That is such a pretty pendant! I never thought of using gallery wire in wirewrapping. I always thought it was just for soldering. You've given me some serious inspiration!
LOVED seeing your technique with the gallery wire! I have tried this before but always felt like I was "cheating" by not soldering~so THANK YOU for freeing me from unnecessary rules!!! Now, back to my gallery wire!!! Thank you!
I’m glad you covered this. I really was curious as to how this was done. You always do such an amazing job with explaining how to do things. Thanks so much for sharing. 😉❤❤
FYI. Maybe for future reference, when using a bezel alarm with square wire. Where the bezel is meeting up together where it overlapped. It should be at the bottom of the stone wrapped with the wires that way it would be covered more. If that makes any sense????
That's a good idea, but I'd only do that if the points matched up near perfectly since they'll be more visible. At the top, the extra wirework can hide that. Of course, depends on one's ocd😮.😊
I use a small piece of 28 gauge round wire to connect my bezel wire together. I sew through the holes on each end of the decorative wire and have each side meet up together. It’s very secure that way.
@@evelinepeterhans4873 unfortunately I bought it several year ago so I can't remember, but I just did a quick search on Etsy and this one looks very similar: www.etsy.com/au/listing/889255300/adornville-999-pure-copper-gallery-bezel?ga_order=most_relevant&ga_search_type=all&ga_view_type=gallery&ga_search_query=copper+gallery+wire&ref=sc_gallery-1-1&sts=1&plkey=89852d92f8a083c1db3e330ebed06194416149e3%3A889255300
No I don't have the equipment to do it and I don't have any extra space(I just work in my living room) to set up any equipment where'd it be safely tucked away and kids & pets couldn't get to it.

can i use round wire instead of the square wire 😊
Yes you can. But if you are also going to use round wire instead of the half round wire, I'd use 28 gauge for that
