There was one day one of the off-road 6x6 articulated trucks died on a steep hill, and it went down the haul road backward into the quarry.
Thank heavens that the haul road was in such a way that the truck didn't go off the edge...
I wound up being the guy that righted the rear end with the box, and then I had to use the excavator to push it up the road, around a 50% grade, to the top.
The operator got the next few days off to calm his nerves.

We loaded 70 tons of wet sand on me in a Komatsu 465 one night and it sunk after driving only a few feet. Pulled it out with a big Cat end loader. Wish we could have gotten pictures.
