I came here after knowing the director died yesterday, this was so good, she was a very talented woman and her films are going to stay with us to remember her.
After seeing this tonight I realized that there is no such thing as a bad movie if Sam Rockwell is in it. It's just not possible. He's perfect in it. And it's a good movie all around. Nice indie flick...glad I got to see it.
I'm not really into this genre of movies but after seeing Sam Rockwell's in it, I do want to see it now. Also because it looks like he and Keira have great chemistry.

Keira Knightly is the reason that makes this film good with her performance. Apparently she replaced Anne Hathaway at the last minute who was unavailable for the part. It is hard to imagine Miss Hathaway in the role because Keira Knightly owns it so completely. I usually find the performances of British actors/actresses who play Americans (as well as their faux U.S.A. accents) strangely flat, but Miss Knightly is one good exception. She falls into her role and seems to use her outsider status as an asset which works within the premise of the movie.

My original interest in Laggies was pretty much the fact that Kaitlyn Dever was in it, but I wasn't sure what to think of this film by the synopsis. After this trailer, though, I think this film looks really good and I can't wait to see it!

I am in High school and I have friends but We need to Understand that Time changes people, You cant just Hide your Emotions and pretends to fake in order to please someone, Megan did the right thing by leaving those fake people and cringe Bf, Bro was Boring AF💀💀
When I read about this film about a 30 something year old in "permanent adolescence", it sounded really interesting. I guess it appealed to the peter pan syndrome in me. But this trailer makes it look like just another...grow up and get over it kind of movie...that focuses on the idea that all adults should be married, popping out babies, working all the time, and boringly serious. If not you're lagging behind and need to be "normal". I hope that it's just the trailer and that the movie is better than that. Maybe it's just being marketed as some mainstream Failure To Launch type movie. If it ends with her getting married, (to Sam Rockwell's character most likely) pregnant, taking some 9-5 and "settling down" I'll be really disappointed. Hopefully instead she simply finds a balance of always being young and heart but being just responsible enough that it's not detrimental to the life that SHE really wants to live.
Hope you did end up watching this movie cos it's worth seeing. It's more about her journey to finding herself and making her own decisions vs allowing others to dictate her life

She tries to rationalize her cheating by telling her boyfriend that he made all the decisions for her while she only agreed to follow him around. What she doesn't realize is that this is exactly the same thing that is happening with the new man she cheated with - he makes all the decisions and she follows him around. Written by a woman and directed by a woman. I guess this shit is now considered a romantic comedy.
first of all, this move is far too layered to just be a "rom com". the main relationship is between Kiera's character and Chloe's character. And anyway, what were you expecting? traditional romantic comedies are annoying, and obviously this situation in real life is a complete disaster, but that's what makes it so intriguing.
