I very much enjoy your detailed demonstrations of subtle interactions of colour. What do you have on the wall behind? Lovely how it warms up in areas bathed in light emanating from the table lamp.
Awesome video. I am on the light french grey train and couldn't come up with a white color for the cabinets, door, and trim to match. Now I know. Thank you for this simple informative video.
Help! I got a great deal on SW web gray for my house exterior but want to choose a white for my trim that tones down the blue undertone in web gray as much as possible. I'm wanting to go with bronze new gutters as well. I'm open to a brown or bronze trim color instead of a white since I installed 4x6 dark stained wood window and door trim. This is all so hard!🤦
Great stuff! I’m glad I came across your channel and sub’d. I’m just starting to update my house and trying to pick out colors that’ll work🤦🏻♂️ Pretty overwhelming but I’m really enjoying the content on your channel. So far I’m hung up on SW Drift of Mist but have no idea what will work with it or if it’s really even right for my situation lol
Welcome aboard Mr 1 Finger Salute! Yes, Drift of Mist is an interesting one as it's SOOOO uncommitted to undertones, which can actually make it harder to work with. I mean, it's gorgeous, but not EASY. Just sample carefully and get some white paper alongside your sample to see the contrast of it :).
Oooo, there can be blue-green and blue-violet. In GENERAL, you'll need a cool gray - not a warm one, and it should have a blue undertone. Start with colors like SW Network Gray/Online/Gray Screen and see how these feel. SW Big Chill might work too, although it's a touch softer :)
I just want to give a suggestion…. I know the bright darker blues are “in” this year but BM Bachelor Blue is highly underrated and deserves a color review in my mind! lol it can go with cools AND warms if done properly and is almost a neutral. Like our jeans!

Ooo, that's the lovely Benjamin Moore Balboa Mist! I love SW Egret White too...
@@KylieMInteriorsPaint Thank you so much Kylie M. I'm due for a fresh coat. I'll check out SW Egret White ....

You're most welcome, thank you!

What greys would work with the white with blue tones? Thx!

YES, I seriously love Bachelor Blue and I agree, SO underrated! I almost did it on my island!
