If ballot papers aren’t completed properly here in Australia, then your vote doesn’t count. We can also have an election on Saturday, and a new Prime minister sworn in by lunchtime Monday. It’s a little like Shakespeare’s, “Oh what a tangled web we weave, when at first we practice to deceive.” People who regularly lie eventually lose track of all their false statements, even when they convince themselves that their lies are reality. But, it’s even worse for those like Trump that know they are lying from the start and are surrounded by people who encourage them to continue lying in order to curry favor or for personal gain. Because then the liar (Trump) has to remember all of the lies suggested to him from the start. I am growing so impatient for all of this to come crashing down on him and see him put behind bars where he belongs. But I fear that somehow he will escape that fate. How can do many people support this horrible man and why are so many people afraid to tell the truth about him???

As much as I would like that to happen I just don’t see it. There’s a two-tier justice system this country. Trump is in the rich and powerful crowd therefore it’s unlikely he’s going to see any jail time. Home imprisonment is likely the best we can hope for. I wish it wasn’t the case but I can’t deny that it is.

Rick wilson, the Lincoln project, asserts that Trump will not be held accountable because attorney general Merrick Garland does not want to lose that case and go down in history as such. His rationale is that it would be very difficult getting a jury of 12 people one of whom is not a mega maniac that shall lie and say that he or she can be fair and unbiased.

Then do you revolve between, one after the other, all day long until you hit your 28 mark? Will no one notice you have just been there or is it even possible to accomplish this at all? Then, isn't there a log that shows you already voted by the clerk checking it off? OMG. The insanity. The other day I went out and ended up doing 4 activities at 4 different places. It took up hours of my day. As german, I see exactly the same mechanisms at work in the period of the late 1920s to early 1930s, where the Nazis (Nazi=Nationalist) systematically established their ideology, by constant propaganda and by their militias (called brownshirts or stormtroopers) harassing the population. These brownshirts only had batons, the MAGA militias have AR-15s - millions of them and hundreds of millions of rounds.
Repeat, compare the US today NOT with the post-1933 period where the Nazis had total control, but with the pre-1933 period. Your hair will fall out.
