That baby is the most chill newborn I've ever seen. Her body language is so clearly an autonomic state of safety. I'm 57 now and had my kids at home, first one 29 years ago, but I was on my own, father's were abusive and absent. My advice to all young women who want to be mothers-please please please make sure you are with a man who really loves you and is really committed and emotionally healthy. And make sure you are for real married. I can not emphasize enough how important it is that mom feels safe and cared for. If that's missing, doesn't matter how many candles you light or if you have a birthing tub. Please, make sure you are with the right person. Love to you dear Ellen and family!
Ok who is cutting the onions here? I still remember Elvis being a little toddler in your old kitchen (couple of houses ago) and now you’re here with your second little girl! It seems like everything amplified from birth to birth. It got better and better and you can tell how infatuated you all are with Dagny! She is so precious!!! I know it all feels like it was meant to be, but it really just shows how much time and effort you and Andrew poured into your family, your home & property and also into contributing and giving back to your community - online and in real life. I personally used some of the birthing techniques and Tipps you provided in earlier videos and my second birth was so incredibly amazing and wonderful because of it. Thank you! Don’t be afraid! I went in with that mindset with my first and it wasn’t a good birth story. With my second I was just ready to let my body do what it was meant to do and my labor was only 4 hours and the birth was amazing. I actually loved it.

oh this makes me happy! I don't have 5 kids, I'm only pregnant with my 2nd,but my daughter will be 6.5 when I have this little one. I was so concerned about the age gap. we tried to have them closer in age but it took us years to get pregnant each time naturally due to PCOS. my daughter is ssoooo ecstatic about having a baby sister,but I was afraid the age gap would make that excitement wane quickly. your story of how close your girls are gives me hope! thank you!
@@angelalujan8154 Oh I'm so glad about that but equally sorry for you that you suffered from secondary infertility. I was able to get pregnant very easy and I think that part of this was because I was so young when I had my children, but I have an ENORMOUS amount of sympathy for people like yourself who find it incredibly difficult and PCOS is a hard fought battle to fight to get your ovaries, ovulation and your menstrual cycle to regulate so that this "every day miracle" can occur! My eldest daughter Allira was surrounded by brothers and I actually thought, because of the timing of her conception, that my youngest would likely be a boy and although I would have loved the baby regardless of what it was, having Allira get a baby sister was just wonderful for her. She'll be, Maddy my youngest that is, 30 in December and I wonder just WHERE the years went! I wish you all the best for the rest of your pregnancy and birth and pray that this baby that you have waited YEARS for will be healthy. Your daughters WILL be the best of friends as they get through their teens and I am ABSOLUTELY sure that you are going to have a wonderful helper when your bub comes along! I LOVE seeing my daughters together because, although they have VERY different temperaments and personalities, they are like 2 peas in a pod! Many blessings to your whole family!

Edit: The results are back, and I'm pregnant!!! Ellen, I can't tell you how happy I am for you!! Truly from the bottom of my heart, congratulations!! ❤ I also have to say that I've felt very connected to you on this pregnancy journey, and I feel compelled to share with you the story of why! I apologize in advance for the length of this, but I promise it's necessary to explain haha :) Firstly, over the years you've shifted the way I view natural birth, and even pregnancy as a whole, from being nervous and apprehensive about it to being absolutely elated at the prospect! Also, you've helped me change my health for the better, both my physical health with diet changes, and my mental health with me being able to shift my mindset to realize that I CAN grab hold of the possibilities, to have a beautiful life of abundance. But even more so than all of that...the reason I feel connected is because of a series of coincidences over the last few months (though I don't think anything is ever really a coincidence) that I just really wanted to share with you. Because my husband is a two-time cancer survivor, we've been struggling with infertility for the past 2 years. At the time we decided to finally pursue fertility treatment, it was the exact time you announced your fifth pregnancy! I remember thinking to myself "Five kids!! That's honestly so incredible, I'd be so happy to have 5 babies one day!!" We decided to do IVF, and because of this, we now have a certain number of embryos to use for future pregnancies. We didn't know how many embryos we would end up with at the time, but because of certain factors, we knew it would be no more than 8. I had decided to open myself to the possibility of whatever blessing was meant for me, so I knew that no matter how many we had, I would over time use all of the embryos. So we waited....and waited.....to find out how many we had to use. And can you guess what the number of embryos ended up being? That's right - FIVE!!! We were also able to find out the gender of each embryo (though we didn't choose which one we implanted, we just wanted to know what we had). We found out that we had THREE BOYS and TWO GIRLS!! We were absolutely ecstatic! At this point, you were just about to give birth, and literally within days of us finding out what the gender of our embryos were and being very close to implanting one, you announced that you had given birth. When I saw you made the birth announcement on your Instagram, I remember thinking "How CRAZY would it be if she ended up having a girl, giving her 3 boys...and 2 girls... Well! Lol you ended up having a beautiful baby girl!!! We did the embryo implantation, and though we didn't choose the gender, we asked the doctors if they could tell us the gender of the embryo that they were implanting. We found out that our potential first baby is a BOY!!! And now, shortly before you're going to put out the video on your beautiful birth story, we're going to find out, on Friday, if we are pregnant!! We're so excited and nervous but your whole journey has been such an encouragement to me, to prepare my body and mind to hold life in my womb. Not to mention, I am SO EXCITED that you're releasing your pregnancy course literally right as I'm about to find out if I'm pregnant!! Ahh! Thank you for taking the time to read this if you made it this far, truly. You're such a blessed mama and a blessed family, and it's a privilege to share in your joy!! ❤

Yes so relaxing! I found her during my 3rd pregnancy which was a bit rough and traumatic and it helped my anxiety so much. We actually went vegetarian after watching her vids! Still getting rid of cheese but almost vegan (my toddler is vegan though!)

I had a rough birthing experience too, I ended up having an emergency c-section with my son.
Hospital births are usually a bad experience. Home births are a different story!

I'm so glad for you and your family! I had 5 babies and my last baby was a little girl. Before she was born we had 3 boys and a girl and my daughter was THRILLED to get a baby sister. Now they are grown even though there is 6 and a half years between them they are so close. Congratulations on your bundle of joy. oh this makes me happy! I don't have 5 kids, I'm only pregnant with my 2nd,but my daughter will be 6.5 when I have this little one. I was so concerned about the age gap. we tried to have them closer in age but it took us years to get pregnant each time naturally due to PCOS. my daughter is ssoooo ecstatic about having a baby sister,but I was afraid the age gap would make that excitement wane quickly. your story of how close your girls are gives me hope! thank you!
@@angelalujan8154 Oh I'm so glad about that but equally sorry for you that you suffered from secondary infertility. I was able to get pregnant very easy and I think that part of this was because I was so young when I had my children, but I have an ENORMOUS amount of sympathy for people like yourself who find it incredibly difficult and PCOS is a hard fought battle to fight to get your ovaries, ovulation and your menstrual cycle to regulate so that this "every day miracle" can occur! My eldest daughter Allira was surrounded by brothers and I actually thought, because of the timing of her conception, that my youngest would likely be a boy and although I would have loved the baby regardless of what it was, having Allira get a baby sister was just wonderful for her. She'll be, Maddy my youngest that is, 30 in December and I wonder just WHERE the years went! I wish you all the best for the rest of your pregnancy and birth and pray that this baby that you have waited YEARS for will be healthy. Your daughters WILL be the best of friends as they get through their teens and I am ABSOLUTELY sure that you are going to have a wonderful helper when your bub comes along! I LOVE seeing my daughters together because, although they have VERY different temperaments and personalities, they are like 2 peas in a pod! Many blessings to your whole family!

Ellen, I can't tell you how happy I am for you!! Truly from the bottom of my heart, congratulations!! ❤ I also have to say that I've felt very connected to you on this pregnancy journey, and I feel compelled to share with you the story of why! I apologize in advance for the length of this, but I promise it's necessary to explain haha :)
Firstly, over the years you've shifted the way I view natural birth, and even pregnancy as a whole, from being nervous and apprehensive about it to being absolutely elated at the prospect! Also, you've helped me change my health for the better, both my physical health with diet changes, and my mental health with me being able to shift my mindset to realize that I CAN grab hold of the possibilities, to have a beautiful life of abundance.
But even more so than all of that...the reason I feel connected is because of a series of coincidences over the last few months (though I don't think anything is ever really a coincidence) that I just really wanted to share with you.
Because my husband is a two-time cancer survivor, we've been struggling with infertility for the past 2 years. At the time we decided to finally pursue fertility treatment, it was the exact time you announced your fifth pregnancy! I remember thinking to myself "Five kids!! That's honestly so incredible, I'd be so happy to have 5 babies one day!!"
We decided to do IVF, and because of this, we now have a certain number of embryos to use for future pregnancies. We didn't know how many embryos we would end up with at the time, but because of certain factors, we knew it would be no more than 8. I had decided to open myself to the possibility of whatever blessing was meant for me, so I knew that no matter how many we had, I would over time use all of the embryos.
So we waited....and waited.....to find out how many we had to use. And can you guess what the number of embryos ended up being? That's right - FIVE!!!
We were also able to find out the gender of each embryo (though we didn't choose which one we implanted, we just wanted to know what we had). We found out that we had THREE BOYS and TWO GIRLS!! We were absolutely ecstatic! At this point, you were just about to give birth, and literally within days of us finding out what the gender of our embryos were and being very close to implanting one, you announced that you had given birth.
When I saw you made the birth announcement on your Instagram, I remember thinking "How CRAZY would it be if she ended up having a girl, giving her 3 boys...and 2 girls... Well! Lol you ended up having a beautiful baby girl!!!
We did the embryo implantation, and though we didn't choose the gender, we asked the doctors if they could tell us the gender of the embryo that they were implanting. We found out that our potential first baby is a BOY!!!
And now, shortly before you're going to put out the video on your beautiful birth story, we're going to find out, on Friday, if we are pregnant!!
We're so excited and nervous but your whole journey has been such an encouragement to me, to prepare my body and mind to hold life in my womb.
Not to mention, I am SO EXCITED that you're releasing your pregnancy course literally right as I'm about to find out if I'm pregnant!! Ahh!

Yes so relaxing! I found her during my 3rd pregnancy which was a bit rough and traumatic and it helped my anxiety so much. We actually went vegetarian after watching her vids! Still getting rid of cheese but almost vegan (my toddler is vegan though!)
