I like to watch these videos of you talking about what you should be preemptively be thinking/feeling when turning towards electrical engineering. The problem is sometimes I like to lie to myself lol. For example, the interest in math for me is truly real, but I would never find myself doing math in my free time. Do I like math and enjoy the journey to the answer and how it works? Truly yes, but I never find myself doing it in my free time. I do love understanding physics and I am super excited to learn how designing hardware and software correlates altogether. My discipline definitely needs work, but from your videos I do believe I can develop myself to become a very good engineer. Thanks.
hey, I'm about to start my 1st year of EE too. I relate to the loving doing math and physics but never actually doing it in my free time part soo much. I've thought about why this is so and i think it just boils down to habit& Having the right environment. Sure math and physics are fun but definitely require more effort and energy. If we started doing What we love the most, even by force We'll definitely stick to it over Fucking around on the internet(in my case lol). Also if we hang out and talk to ppl who are genuinely putting effort by doing projects & learning stuff, it sure makes it more likely that We'll do the same
@@PlatinBounty Everything related to electricity as well as the field of computing. Disadvantages is the math and physics are too hard and the field is too broad that students may don't know where to specialize or which class to take. Should take some time to find your own path.
Please keep up the hard work and videos!! They are super helpful to me as a senior in high school with choosing my future major. Much love from Saudi Arabia!
These videos give me much needed guidance and confidence. As I am going in for my first year for robotics engineering. Even though it’s a bit different from electrical engineering they have a lot of overlap and i find a lot of good information from this channel.
im just finishing my first year in EE and for me, the single caveat is the lack of time, we had a hectic year so many things got canceled and we crammed as much info as we could, but I literally had no time for anything but studying, and don't get me wrong I love learning but I need at least a few hours a week to relax and do something else. rn I'm waiting for the last exam of the year (in DSA) and afterwards I hope ill be able to learn everything we missed this year and maybe even tackle a project to start my LinkedIn page.
Great video. I've watched a couple now. You will soon have far more subscribers, for sure. Quick question, I know you're American, i live in London, i install heat pumps and training for my electrical quals at the moment. I can't afford Uni but if i had my time again i'd study electrical engineering. Are there any clubs I can join that just play or have fun with circuit boards and a bit of software to go with it? Who knows i might even start trying out some of the physics that go with it. Thanks for any advice or tips.
Going back to university again to get my second undergrad degree but this time for electrical engineering. Cannot put a price on your advice thank you! 🙏🏻
Hello Ali, my name is Angel and am currently in my undergrad in electrical engineering, and I would love to see some of the projects you’ve worked on. Could you possibly make a video diving into a project you loved and one you struggled with? And maybe end the video showing us your PHD plaque that would be sick🫡.
I am a Jamaican would love to continue learning electronics..however I don't have any support and people to really talk to about these stuff..I have a amateur arrl hand 2015..and I am using RUclips as well..I just need to be point in the right directions ...
I have the opportunity to study Electro-mechanical Engineering (not Mechatronics) which is Electrical and Mechanical engineering combined, do you think this is a good option in terms of how future proof it is? The University says it is handy for designing things 2 engineers would have had to work on (Electrical and Mechanical) by your self.
Hi Ali I wanted to ask is it ok to fail class. The reason why I am asking is I took circuits 2 this summer and I failed now I could ask my professor to get me a seat in the class to pass the class, but I will learn little to nothing in the class so I'm thinking about taking a class again. Let me know if this is the right choice.
Hello Brother Ali , I am an electrical engineer student and planning to work in software engineering for the salary. Is it possible? Also transfering major is not feasable for me because of financial issue.

Hi ..I am in my 4th year ug in Electrical Engineering and your videos Helps out a lot.
can you do a video of how AI will impact electrical engineering?
You can work in AI at least half of students who do EE in US colleges become a SWE or AI/ML jobs or have a B.S in EE.

this was so inspiring big up Dr Ali
Another excellent video. I use your advice in my daily EE student life. I can confirm that it's 100% accurate.

Eugene Khutoryansky! Absolutely incredible channel that is one of the reasons I’m going to university
Thanks for the info
I like it how you talk about ur passion on RUclips 😊
Did you know old guys are watching your channel too? 😂 I'm 53 and am self teaching maths and engineering because I love it
thats amazing!!
Thanks for this nice explained video about EE
This video is a diamond 💎

Ali coming in clutch again, going into junior year in EE.

Electrical Engineering is a good career but I am doing it form an average college thats why I am a bitte sad .
I didn't go to a top school either, make the most out of your experience

Khan academy has a free electrical engeneering course but I dont know how deep it goes
hey Ali whats your explanation for the derivative of real life
Hey Man can u make video on How Electrical Engineers can work in Robotics and AI
You Stevejobs onthat thumbnail

I am interested in Ai is it worth it to go into EE ? I think CS is a skills that i can learn by my self
Ye CS sucks
Can you teach electrical engineering major courses
Pls find and share the link of that 30min video that got yourself interested in the Fourier Series and Transform !!!

to be honest i always wished to find a mentor but not founded ..... but yes youtube help
Why did u shave?
Hi Brother
Cheers from India
Can i shift to aerospace for Mtech after EEE in btech
Where did you go to college for electrical engineering?
University of Buffalo
Should I do ee or ece engineering which is best

Just quit
I want to study abroad but I don't want to pay a lot of money like the USA can you give me examples of countries
Germany, Malaysia

2:45 This is Nepotism; I just don't like that it doesn't matter how hard you work. Its a popularity contest. It is sad to hear.😢
