  • As South Africa marks twenty two years of democracy, questions continue to emerge on how long will it take to translate political freedom into economic freedom. Recently Black First-Land First's National Co-ordination Committee resolved to undertake a national campaign to defend the country's sovereignty. They also agreed to advance the struggle for the economic liberation of the country's black majority. Government spending and state firms incurring losses
    rather than making profit has become a contentious issue. Meanwhile, ratings agency Moody's has warned that it could cut the ratings of five state-owned firms, including Eskom as a result of funding risks. But to what extent do political decisions impact the economy?

    Andile is a Leader ,direct and well informed.As far as other analyst goes ,there is no room popularity in revolution.The public and Black people need wake,let go of the misinformation and miseducation import to you by your oppression. You have brains use it ,logic and reasoning is essential in decision making ,I know the truth hurts ,hence all the caller are so emotional towards Andile because he says things that are real.Callers don't understand ,they need to their own research ,study HISTROY ,look at both local and international politics ,understand how the superpower operates ,Don't depend on the media that always paints black people negative for their own benefits .Leave emotions aside ,look at to understand the core problem clearly before suggest solutions because assuming solutions without understanding the problem might result in you repeating the same mistakes over and over again.LAND is very important for the bride of your people .Land is the source of all wealth ...The listen to what Marcus Garvey said dear people ,Listen Julius Nyerere ,Listen to Steve Biko ,Robert Sobukwe,Thomas Sankara ,Malcom X , Listen to those who came before..To be independent socially we need to break beyond this psychological chains of that that enslaved our thoughts.Black person is not your enemy ..

    I asked myself the exact question: Why do you give that guy a plattform?

    • @EndoCanna
      @EndoCanna 8 лет назад +2

      Why not? I thought that's democracy.

    • @thomasprogli3372

      +Carter 36. No! That has nothing to do with democracy. There are hundreds of other parties that got more votes then this guy's party. Why do they not get to express their views, weekly on TV? The answer is simple this guy is kissing Zuma's ass, thus he gets privileges that others don't get. So this is exactly the opposite of democracy.

      +Thomas Progli Media loves radical views, particularly if its polarising. While opportunistic and borderline naive, Andile's views resonate with the bottom of the pyramid.

      + Carter 36 I agree, but that is exactly the reason why it has nothing to do with democracy. The next question would be should we give a platform to people who try to make our society better but are not so entertaining or those that want to be entertaining even if they destroy our society? Do we give a platform to those that are violent and undemocratic? Do we give a platform to racists?
      Believe me there would be nothing more entertaining then putting a black racist together with a white racist. But how is this journalism?
      This guy is useless and everybody knows it. How many votes did he get?

    • @EndoCanna
      @EndoCanna 8 лет назад

      +Thomas Progli I do agree with you in large parts. I guess this is a case in point for why democracy as a system is flawed. The bs about aprioristic equality. One of the foundations democracy is the assumption that votes and parties are equal.It assumes that all opinions are worth the same, which is quite a big leap of faith, since we're putting the same value on the opinions of the educated and the ignorant, and the law-abiding citizens and crooks. Perhaps it's not Andile who is the problem, it's the wider pseudo democratic system Africans have come to embrace and SABC pushes. It only serves minority interests.Be it in opinions or state capture. Remember how they rid of Mbeki, Zuma has made it easier with his stupidity. In Zimbabwe, we have "democracy" too, apparently... and a politics of land too...Watch this space.
