- Oh man I hope I didn't spoil the new episodes of SU for too many people. I just couldn't wait to draw Blue Diamond she's just so sad ad pretty. She sure has a super long face tho XD but that's ok! I hope I got the angle of her face right, I was unsure of it but I think it's ok but, idk XD It's not your average face shape but IDK! I tried lol
Overall I'm still really happy with this piece, it came out a lot more like idk, realistic than I anticipated, but there's still a lot of cartoonyness to it so hahah idk XD YAY SPACE ROCKS! I want to make one of Yellow Diamond in a similar composition, where it's a portrait but like framed in a Diamond with like planets and stuff around her like the hieroglyphs of the four diamonds (from the Diamond communication place on the moon) to I kinda went off of that as well as the shapes in her little carrier thing. I'd love to make one of White and Pink Diamond too but I don't know what they look like ;n; and I don't want to guess and just go for it and then it turn out to be super wrong lol
But yeah! And HOLY CRAP IT WAS SOOOOO HARD!!! TO FIND MUSIC FOR THIS! I finally found a piano cover of the song "What's the Use of Feeling Blue" from • Steven Universe - What... and in the description it said it's cool to use the song as long as it's credited in description (which I always do and completely understand :D) SO PLEASE CHECK THEM OUT THEY ARE AWESOME AND TEACH YOU HOW TO PLAY PIANO! LIKE WHAT?!

i know i cant try to shut down every comment i see and dont agree with, but it still bothers me when i see things like this.
people have legitimate reasons for disliking videos. i didnt dislike this, i think it is well made and the color choice is brilliant, but i know many people get angry about details they find insulting, and believe me, there are quite a few things that can be. those things are typically a stylistic choice, so i dont get worked up about it, but that doesnt mean people who do get angry about it are "jerks" or are just "jealous". that of course is only an example, and i would like to reiterate that i love this drawing and this artist, but that doesnt mean theyre flawless and that doesnt mean that anyone who dislikes them is in the wrong.

Ok, I was really confused on why everyone was drawing blue diamond, but now that I have caught up, I CAN NOW SEE WHY!!! This is beautiful and the expression shatters ones soul to see someone in such pain. Blue diamond is very beautiful an has much potential for the future, I believe the same for Yellow diamond. This piece has beautiful colors and lighting. Her love and sorrow for Pink diamond shows.
I honestly was expecting Blue Diamond as a badass. But, turns out she's just one of those absolutely lovable Cinnamon Rolls. I love Blue Diamond. [No offense]

XD which is good, it's rewarding in it's own way to grow up in a family that didn't have money and didn't have any fame. It makes you appreciate things more. :>
I definitely got art from my mom's side of the family, my mom is a great artist but she stopped drawing ages ago and went into music instead. But hahaha I got here because with tons of work and passion. XD And you can too if you keep drawing and practicing! :D

little trick, if you want people to stay until the end of the video and this way you will gain more views, show the finished drawing at the end of the video :P cause some people will only come for the finished product not the speed paint it self, and they will click away after seeing it

Honestly, it makes sense what you say. There's no disagreement there!!! But lol I have been guilty in literally skipping a whole speedpaint video to see the final end product. It doesn't matter whether it's at the end or beginning if someone really just cares about the finished piece, they will find it & leave regardless. Personally, I like seeing it at the beginning because it satisfies the itch of "oooh how did it turn out" & I continue to watch the video to see how the artist pulled it off~ It's a good layout to have the piece both at the beginning & end

One of the lines of dialogue in Yellow Diamond's song was "a lapis terraforms" Now imagine how insanely powerful lapis is and why she was sent to earth. I bet she was told to be wipe out the crystal gems with a tsunami or something. She is after all Bob the Builder. Though Busmuth punched her in the back and you know the rest of the story.

I didn't use any Cartoon Network copywrited material in this video, the song I used is a cover, and it's fan art which is different enough to not be copywrite infringement to get a strike, and I am not selling it mass production wise so the most that can happen is get a claim on my video, which even then they can't do because I didn't use any direct copywrited content in this work.
And not to worry, the new episode aired, that's why it's everywhere. (or I think it did. I mean I was able to watch it) Leaks did come out the other day, but the episodes have now aired so it's ok to make fanart for now. I think the reason why Harland Dante got striked was because he as using actual direct copywrited footage from the cartoon in his videos being as he makes Reviews, where I'm not using any copywrited content so I think I'll be ok. So I don't think you need to worry. ^_^ Besides people have made blue diamond fannart before she was debut'ed, this shouldn't be any different. so I think I'll be ok.
however if I do get a strike lol, well, I guess you can say 'I told you so' XD
