Great design mate. Love their kit. When I finally start a build I will be doing the same. Make so much sense, to buy there kits rather than making your own. Quicker, better finish, better quality and probably better cost. 👍 Great work.
Absolutely love the idea of that unit for electrics 👍🏻 I’ll definitely be ordering from Evo for my furniture, it’s a shame you’re not on commission mate 😂
This looks great. Strangely, I sought out your channel to see what you were doing in your garage area as I was having a 'mare trying to source T slot aluminium extrusion. I then notice you have a framework already built of the stuff in your van! As such, I'm just after a bit of advice. I want to build a framework out of the extrusion both sides of my van, to rest an aluminium bed frame on top and to build a framework under for open plan shelving. Two questions, does it feel strong enough to support two persons? (I'm guessing so, as your bed frame appears to be made from it) and, where did you get yours? I'm only asking for advice, not guarantees so, I won't hold your personally responsible 😆. Cheers. Mal.
Hi Aiden. Great channel, very helpful! I have a new Sprinter coming in January and I will be using a lot of your ideas. Inc EVO, no brainer. Really could have done with a vid on your bed. I plan using 4040, but the sides look much deeper. Can you provide more info? And how you bolted them. Cheers!
well ive priced up a kitchen pod and just the pod is £880 and then theres the extras. Of course its expensive but then you are just plugging Evo all the time
Ha ha. It’s not a shameless plug though mate. I’ve bought this stuff. Out of my own money. No discounts. No favours. Look around. Try to build this yaself. Factor in time, fixtures, fittings. Question if you could do an as good job or better for the price and time scale. If you can……. Excellent. Send me some examples and I’ll buy one off you next time 👍🏻
@@urbanarkoverland Aidan, im just saying I think its expensive (in my opinion) as everything is nowadays. I respect its not a shameless plug. Ok I believe you that you are not getting discounts but you had the Evo logo up on your video once. I am building one exactly like yours Aidan( its the same van )and im doing it without a driveway and garage. I know exactly how difficult it is. Ive worked it out to be the £15,000 mark and thats factoring in Evo furniture, kitchen lockers, full Victron. It will be kick ass. I'm on your side mate and I apologise if you thought I was having a dig at you. And ill send you the pictures.
@@frankiez7414 honestly mate. I’m not offended. It wasn’t as sarcy as it sounded. If you weigh up the time it will take you. And listen. The boards are £160 each plus delivery. That’s a lot of money mate. Decent draw runners are £20 a go. I honestly think. If you haven’t got a workshop and a table saw. You will regret it. I had that pod built before I could have even planned the dimensions. I put the logo of all and any company I use. Trying to make it look good. And yeah. I do want to companies to see I’m willing to play the game etc. Tuesdays video will have the Terrawagen logo in the corner. But I can assure you they haven’t sent me anything direct. Just think about it mate. There is a hell of a lot of work in design and building these furnitures. My advice. Go to work doing the job you know and hopefully am can do with ya eyes shut. And pay. If you are taking days off to build furniture etc. it’s only fair you factor that into the price. Good luck
Cracking video as usual and very useful.... I'm currently working on a 2019 fwd mwb sprinter conversion and I have encountered the issues with the flooring being a different cutout along with the no side step as with rwd they have one. The ceiling height 80mm higher so Evo are assisting with resolving the issues so great company to work with.. Really appreciate the video with underneath bed storage space that you have created 👌👌🚐
Yeah the headroom is mega in those eh. Think companies need to evolve in to this model as it’s about to be the peoples choice. With all the older ones clocking up miles and scars.
We are currently converting a Crafter, your channel is so useful, I've been binge watching your videos. Thank you very much for all of your help.
Hey man. I know you are. I also frequent your channel. If you need any help or advice. Email me and will drop you my number
You're a star! Thank you very much, I'll be in touch 👍
No probs
Fantastic again mate,, Love your work and vids.. 👍👍🚙🚙
Appreciate that. Thanks 👍🏻
nice design. love the lower pull off panel, simple idea but works well.
Yeah. Should only have to get in there once in a blue moon 👍🏻
@@urbanarkoverland I might steal that idea for securing my cover for my services.👍👍

Looking good Aidan 👍🏻
Cheers pal 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Yeah. I could never do this cost effectively 👍🏻👍🏻
Looking great matey

Ha. Yeah I use 40/40 and it’s more than strong enough. I sourced it online. Can’t remember exactly. Just have to type it in and see who comes up. 👍🏻

I cannot mate. The reason you can’t find the info is it’s not my idea to share. Sorry.
@@urbanarkoverland Ah, its an Ape Adventure Vans mod ;) Ok, back to my idea of bolting 4040 to the sides then...
Looks great. Shame evo don't support x290 chassis (ducato, boxer etc) as would be great. They would probably double their turnover too.
Yes mate. Don’t forget a kitchen pod is a kitchen pod regardless of model. A lot of things are multi fit. They also do universal lockers etc. 👍🏻
Finished product looked great but Flat pack 😳🤦🏻♂️☠️☠️☠️ 😵💫🥵🥵🥵
Still a lot quicker mate 👍🏻
Hey Aidan what bed is that ?
