@@virtualcomos1542 Sam did some trading around and got the engine for practically nothing. All the gaskets were in an eBay kit. Cam was a summit house brand cam, all the bottom end bearings were under $200.
@@virtualcomos1542 if you have a pull a part around your area. They have flat rates for engines. I have also bought 4l80e transmissions from there as well as 5.3 and 6.0 engines. You will have to keep a close eye out on their website for new arrivals. Those 6.0’s go pretty quick.

Is it easy to do a frame off on a caprice ?
It would be easy to do one with use of a lift to raise the body off. But it could be done on the ground. Accessing all the body mount bolts is simple.
