I like 1 thing about wuthering waves which is fighting style I don't wanna play like an old man and standing there spamming moves I want to play a freaking game where I can finally feel I am fighting a boss so yeah that's why wuwa is better
I like WuWa's combat better, but unfortunately I am just too smooth-brained unga bunga to be good at it. The dodging and parrying is cool, but Neuvilette and Arlecchino are my favorite Genshin DPS for a reason. I like to be able to do a little bit of setup, then just mash/hold down the attack button. It doesn't help that I like to play Rectifier users in WuWa (Encore/Yinlin/Verina), and parrying with them is notoriously difficult. Maybe I'll get better at it with Changli. I also like the interactivity between characters on a team in Genshin more. WuWa is cool that you can swap in and out so much, but the only way for one character to affect another is their Outro Skills. They're nice, but I like how Genshin has stuff like the elemental reactions so that your Xingqiu applying Hydro with his Burst can boost your Arlecchino's damage by letting her Vape. Characters like Yinlin and Mortefi can do coordinated attacks from off field, but it doesn't have any sort of interaction with your on field character. I haven't tried doing one yet, but I believe the 1.1 update that just came out should have removed the cutscene from completing Tacet Fields.
You put it sooo nicely 😍 The first thing that ever got me hooked on Genshin was the elemental reactions!! I loveeed whenever I had to think about pairing characters according to their elements, I used to think that was sooo cool! Also when dendro came out it got alooooot more interesting too! I totally agree with you 🙂↕️
It’s more than just outro skills in wuwa building a team can get complex when you think about outro skills echo boosts and chaining characters attacks together doing animation cancels when swapping characters and making sure you outro into the right characters to apply the right buffs to the right character for example if you’re using jianxin and calcharo you need to build forte on jianxin so you can apply her shield and build up energy for her outro skill then ult to group everyone together use her echo if it’s a buffer like impermanance harron animation cancel the echo by using outro skill into calcharo then use calcharos echo if it’s thundering or tempest Memphis to get the buff from it animation cancel that echo ability by using calcharo ult then do his combo genshin elemental reactions are really cool but I feel like wuwas team building can get just as in depth as genshins
Personally I love wuwa a bit more seem more up to date and mature the way the characters look and animations lately been looking insane but still like genshin and play it at times(also the devs for wuwa makes me want to play it more)
Wuwa looks so interesting. I love how the enviroment looks in the new regions, I love the design of the new characters and the combat/animations looks great. But I sadly can't experience it. My laptop runs genshin, hsr and dota 2 just fine, but struggles with wuwa - it's uncomfortable to play. Hope they will optimise the game in the future or maybe I get enough money for a pc, but for now I'm seemingly bound to hoyo games
you're not the only one interested in Geshu Lin, girl, you're not the only one 👀 i fell for him instantly when i saw him in the trailer 😩 and i'm so curious about his relationship with Jiyan but besides that, the thing that i like the most about wuwa is the fact that i've been playing since the release. i feel like i started playing genshin too late (during Sumeru release) and i hate all the catching up... the amount of content is really overwhelming and it really demotivates me 😕 also the combat in wuwa is more appealing to me, i don't know, there's something in genshin's combat that just doesn't work for me, but i can't even tell what exactly
Yes! I started playing genshin when inazuma was first released and it did not feel so daunting! Someone suggested I play wuwa since it was going to be released in a few days and I was like “hey what does it feel like to play a game from patch 1.0?” So I stuck around and I’m soo glad I did 😍🤍
Genshin could definitely improve it's combat by copying some of Wuwa's ideas, but the only thing they absolutely need to add to genshin imo is the Wuwa style wall running. It's so much more fun to traverse the world in Wuwa when you can run along walls and flip up over those annoying overhangs that are otherwise completely impossible to surpass in Genshin without a character like Wanderer or Kazuha.
this is obviously a nobrainer (no pun intended)... Wuwa is obviously better because more rewards, better exploration tools and mechanics, uses skill instead of just deleting enemies from just whaling, better combat mech, and just better overall.... for all genshin players who don't agree with me, well... open your eyes (no offense) lmao xD anyways it all comes down to opinion and how you feel about the game. Elemental reactions in genshin is cool n' all but there are still people who don't understand the mechanics, while in Wuwa, its just based on supports and other units. For example, lets say I'm maining Calcharo in Wuwa, I would get Yinlin and Verina (or Baizhi) for yinlin's res lib dmg amplification and Verina's healing and increase dmg amplification to increase the burst dmg of Calcharo and to buff and heal him with Verina. Exploration is a very crucial part of any open world rpg game, to get to a certain location in a matter of time.. Genshin has just a glider.... very boring huh... While in Wuwa, Gliders, grapple, running up walls, a mechanic where there is an obstacle in front of where your climbing up on, your character will do a frontflip and basically do a flip over the obstacle and make it on the roof. This is just a few of other mechanics I'll compare for now... :D I'm done
Very good points, I agree with you mostly but I still think Wuwa needs a tad bit more polishing. In that regard, Genshin is so much more cinematic and beautiful from the visuals to the background music, but that’s just my opinion 🥰 Other than that I agree with most of what you mentioned🫶🏻
Both Genshin Impact and Wuthering Waves characters designs, the stories, the lore of the characters/the main story and the regions are incredible! Both games are still good despite their highs and lows
combat looks cool, character designs look cool, but the story just doesn’t do it for me unfortunately. genshin definitely has issues with loooong dialogue scenes and story pacing, but i have rarely felt the need to skip the main story and most of the world quests 🤷🏻♀️ i hope wuwa stays popular though, because healthy competition in the same niche would force hoyo to work on genshin’s weaker points
I totally get you but I wouldn’t classify Wuwa or even Genshin as hard. I feel like they’re fun games that take time and skill (and alot of farming for artifacts/echoes) to finesse the gameplay 🥰

I agree
That’s so true. I boast about the combat in wuwa the most 🙂↕️

Absolutely, i love both games and i love playing with them but they do need improvements here and there.

Oh no :( I actually play both games on my phone so if you could sacrifice a liiitttlle bit of quality you can play on your phone 😅

Ughhh so trueeee 😭😭
I told my sister about the difference in both games and she almost installed the game just for that feature.

I feel like they could learn from each other definitely 🙂↕️
i loveddd wuthering waves until my account got hacked 😭😭 so now i gotta come back to genshin
Ohh nooo 🥺🥺
I’m so sorry for your loss, is there no way to recover it?
@@SoftscapeASMR there probably is but i really can’t be bothered and i was gonna come back to genshin for natlan soon anyway lmao
@ellaa1111 welcome back to genshin i guess 🤣🤍
51:14 yess plz
🫡
yes wuwa❤ do u pull for jinshi or changli? ❤❤
I really like Jinhsi but Changli’s been looking reeaal good lately 🌚🫶🏻
I guess I’ll wait for Changli for now :)
The only thing I like about Genshin is the story. For WuWa it's the combat & character designs.
That’s what sets them apart i think, they’re both good in their own way 🙂↕️
I miss you 🥹I've been struggling with my finals they're not fun at all
Wish me luck😭
Ohhh baby wishing you the best of luck 🥺🫶🏻

I absolutely agree with you, love wuwa’s skip button but i wouldn’t use it in genshin’s main story just the side quests.
im sry but it feels like cheap, unpolished copy with worse characters, story and world building. If i want a harder game i play elden ring or sekiro.
I totally get you but I wouldn’t classify Wuwa or even Genshin as hard.
I feel like they’re fun games that take time and skill (and alot of farming for artifacts/echoes) to finesse the gameplay 🥰
