Question for you sir UE1 belongs to one service provider and UE2 belongs to a different service provider. Now when UE1 calls UE2 how does the call transfer from one service provider to another happens. What component manages to transfer the call in one BW to another.
I have one query... what happend if we try to camp on plmn which may be not present in tupple list of plmn in a handset defined for a country? Any suggestion, I mean, want to test plmn id 999 99 in lab environment?
Nice one...sir please solve this doubt...there is no problem with UE as well as network side..but still UE unable to camp on the network..what might be the reason.. please solve
Thanks for sharing, on the reference signal, I thought it would not be able to read this until it had read the pas and sss of a cell to get the cell is and the location of the reference element? Thanks in advance,
Azar, Question for you Sir... In the event that you are roaming and the home PLMN is not available, nor is a "preferred" PLMN for the region you are in (based on hard coded info on your USIM), once the mobile goes to the secondary list, based on RSRP - doesn't the UE send a Registration Request to the MME/HSS? In this case, if the Home PLMN's HSS defines that the PLMN the UE auto-selected is NOT on the "approved" (like they are not a roaming partner) doesn't the serving PLMN then send a message to block the UE from re-attempting to Register? When this happens, does the Home PLMN HSS provide instruction through the interim PLMN as to which network to next prioritize or does it simply mark the failed attempt internally and move to the next PLMN in the secondary priority list using the algorithm?
But does it block that plmnid? If the ue is rebooted, will the network ignore the request or go through the process again? does the rejection get recorded & remain persistent in nvram?
Q1. If a user purchase a sim-card from a particular circle and switched on their device into another circle what procedure ue will follow Q2. How many PLMN ids’ can be present in PLMN list Q3. When you power on your UE and AS layer search all PLMN and create a list then how our sim is verified that this is my PLMN please ans this ques if possible

Sir, how is the behaviour when UE lost coverage?

In this scenario it will always move to the next PLMN.
UE will try to move to the next available PLMN and a message will appear on your UE screen 'Searching' even if the signal bar will be full
But does it block that plmnid? If the ue is rebooted, will the network ignore the request or go through the process again? does the rejection get recorded & remain persistent in nvram?

Very simple and clear explanation
Nice explanation
Very useful
Again, using Ericsson images property for your video? That is not good!!!
Thank you for the compliment
Sir,
What is different between PLMN and PSTN?
the PSTN is usually referred to as the public telephone network - the PLMN is specific to Mobile Networks (LTE specifically in this case)
