I made my own beige box with 4 plugs.... RJ45, alligator clips, banana clips(for my home tester) and an actual real Bridging Head Clip for the double door with 4,000 phone numbers so I could just open the doors and go at it lol.... had a spst push button to turn my mic off so people wouldn't hear the crickets when I came on...boy do I have stories man.....stories. im 1883 your 883 wow.....how deep did you get into phr33king?

@@beekeeper8474 I ordered 18k resistors & got 16k. Called, told them to send me 18k's. I got another bunch of 16k's & got charged again. And a bunch of toggle switches that are wrong. I'm through.
nice 4 pill . HG need less bias. they still make them antenna's with the loop on bottom. Moonraker has them. got a 5/8 wave version of Antron 99 coming for friend. it's the longer version. has different ground plain kit. we had storm come threw and strong winds. went from 70F down to 26F in a day. ship crazy today 11 meters. I got a HT I use. over S9 on CH 6 with 54CM rubber duct antenna. just throw some RG 8X on a fiberglass pole and shoot some skip. I got England on SSB CB the outher day AM. like 8 . The T2LT antenna. I cut one for 6 meters as well. easy take that 4 pill. I gave it 500 watt FT8 and coax coil started to warm up so I cut to 250 watt . I got made in UK coax RG 8X . left over ,so I made antenna out of it. best to go with bigger heat sink on 4 pill. 73's
In my opinion you are a very blessed person to obtain and keep knowledge. I can't remember or recall Jack squat anymore but I'm a lot older than you and the 9 or 10 million miles I've bounced all of my brains out in 48 states I can still solder perty good and can lay down a good bead with my 45 yr old welder. I started to roll it out and burn a couple rods just to see if I could set a pair of jeans on far. I burnt the leg off one pair 50 years ago and about did a personal cremation.

My Number 1 UK 🇬🇧 Fan and sub I'm about to to mount my puck mount and work on getting the mobile up...I do have a 10m dipole I've been playing with the last few days I Heard UK FM Channel 19 on your cb channels today which was so cool man.....my dipole is in a V formation cause it has slipped out of the tree so my angel of radiation is HIGH...imm get it higher up in the tree and well do a SKED so we can finally talk...that will be fun.
Love those style sandbar resistors ..I use same ones,they have little stand off feet ..so air can flow around and under them when there mounted flush down against a board ... .anyways those are great wire wound resistors ...
Now ,u know I respect u in the up most way ...u know this ,for you extremely talented,but I would like to talk about the regulated bias.. it's actually not needed .. the regulation of the bias..,why well when when we run amplifies are voltages and operation of the circuit vary in voltage ... In my opinion u want the, bias circuit to be able to float ..up and down with the voltage cycle of the amp ... This is my OPinion.. I use a loading diode ,loading resistors bi pass cap and loading diode in my bias .. using the sand bar for the resistor.. this bias circuit will float with the voltages of the amps cycle .... In my opinion regulated bias is really not necessary.... Now I would like your full opinion on this ....thanks Justin 9lb hammer

how far away do u live from d-rails shop. you met me thier i was the short guy with the custom power dc to dc @100 amps. my antenna was going through the center of my sauturn. i bought them 2879 cs from you. i was one of the last guys you talked with. i go by gamer. just a recall who i am. i still havent got my 6 pill running like it should. i want to come over and watch what you do to it. so i can see where im going wrong my 6 pill wont do more than 1100 pep and it has 2879c's in it. I think it should do alot more!! let me know if you would be cool with that?
oh i also run a comp tuned d-rail striker 955 ver2 so i should be pushing it hard enough.. my radio runs about 140 to 150 pep @15.2 volts the job i need to do to the amp is just tuning it
