- The Pirate Lord Can Hook EVERYTHING Now! BTD6 / Bloons TD 6 - a change to the middle path buccaneer has made it so it can pull in twice the amount of bloons for the most part! Check out the ridiculousness of this change in this 2 megapops challenge.

They weren't in range of the tower, which is why he said it. If he had put them in range, they would have gotten buffed by the alchemist.

about a week ago I attempted to 2MPC with the Pirate Lord without knowing the buff and at first I thought it only looked like it's hooking in more than 3 blimps. When I realized it is in fact hooking in more than 3 blimps, I rushed an Energizer to try and get majority of the pops by the hook in ability
I didn't end up succeeding because Enrgizer stole 53k pops

11:35 you said pop lead bloon, but it's actually becuase of the black bloon property ddts have, and that is also why smaller big plane (spectre) doesn't work on ddts

Buccaneer is probably my favorite Tower, so I'm glad they got a buff.
I was doing a black border run for some map a day ago and i decided to use pirate lord, carrier and sky shredder and i bought pirate lord last, just in time for the bad and i saw that the ability hooked everything after the ddts got demolished, i was very highly astonished

With the cooldown buff final harmonic gives to heros + energizer brickel now has 100% uptime on tactics in normal game modes, unsure about chimps
Pirate Lord is back? It went from one of the best towers in the game to still one of the better towers with the nerfs. And now they've decided to buff it an... interesting amount.

Could this be used in advantage to make more interesting challenges? Also Ultimate Crosspathing would be nice to see with the Meermonkey (although i don't know if the mod has been updated or not)
I tried to a 1tc but it die at 95 to the ddt
Nk loves boat so much than they created an entire tower just for br able to place the boat anywhere in any map
You can pair bottom path mermonkey with sub to reduce cool down even more.
Love the content… you should have 3 of each tower with different max lines and see how long you can survive
This is only about the ability. They still killed the tower itself.

I've also been playing a lot more pirate lord since the buff and Imo, it's overtuned now.

I have like 40 black borders and i didnt know that DDT's had black bloon properties... wow...

I think I could get black border on all easy and intermediate maps and most advanced maps, I just hate doing the easy modes.
I just got 2.039 million pops with it on logs along with overclock and homeland and a permaspike, it’s so broken now lol

Rubber to gold & pirate lord goes hard in game modes outside chimps. It goes so far as to trivialize half cash once you get the combo up and running.
By the time you’re facing frequent moabs half cash is easy the early game is the only hard part
I mean, if you are at a point where you can save up 28k in Half Cash, you have already won even without the buffed pirate lord

Really funny that the update patchnotes started by claiming they'd start reeling back the game's powercreep.
update 42 definetly helped minimize power creep but they really should roll another round of nerfs on things like glord and carrier flagship

I abuse this along with energizer and tech bot to get infinite suckups to save for paragon pops

If not lord of the abyss, why not final harmonic? Insanely early stall compare to the early glue placement and gives 3 pierce or something. Harmonic's stall and dot detonation is so good sometimes i forget it also gives flat pierce lol
The pierce buff is only for monkeys from the magic category

One doubt, if you use P Lord in Chimps the insta kill doesnt make you lose cash or no?
It works the same way as bloon trap and obyn - it just gives you the amount of money you would’ve made if you popped it normally
Bma and ben Trojan are the only things that don’t work like this because they don’t “pop” Bloons, they just turn them into red Bloons and delete their insides respectively. They lose money outside of chimps too but nobody cares because you don’t make most of your money from pops outside of chimps anyways

You can get 1.9 millions with base 0-0-0 dart, so yes, a lot of them can. W/Geraldo probably almost all of them
@@smbsmw1111geraldo doesn't count for 2tcs *on the BTD6 index (which lists 2tcs) cuz he gets a 2tc with literally everything. same for corvus and sauda
As pirate lord is about 6 times more expensive than monkey pirate, 6 hooks is appropriate.
If you take into account the full cost, it's only around 4x as expensive as tier 4 pirates, and the ability also has 2/3 the cooldown so it's about 9x as strong for 4x the cost. This also isn't mentioning the fact it hits zomgs, or that it makes you money
