Aged 80 with a diploma in computer technology that is so out of date it deserves a place in a museum. I use a desk top most of the time with a suite of programs I have been using for years plus RUclips and Opera for surfing. The iPhone is just beginning to get away from me.

Pensioners should get a free allowance for essential services, and phones should be included.

I wholeheartedly agree. Brain injury survivors need help and support to learn/re-learn how to use technology. This also goes for folk with learning difficulties.

I wonder how elderly people cope with this digital era. My father is over 80 but he can use his mobile with confidence.
