@@zhikse Well now that I think about it, it makes perfect sense. The Voice was that Archjudge or how was he called, wasn't he? He wished us luck against the Withdrawn and he also asked us to show the Chastity that we are superior. For he knew the leaders of these triumvirates, and he knew what they want to achieve, and he didn't want them to be free. Thus, he wanted us to stop them. That's just a little theory but it makes sense, doesn't it?
@@tuoritto Yeah, it makes a lot of sense. He isn't bound to just one stance so it's normal that he'd despise other triumvirates over the Nightwings here and there. With the chastity it's even better because it shows his contempt
What are you doing in the you tube comments if you haven't completed the game?! You can listen to the soundtrack within the game with the lute that you most defiantly have by that point. Besides, did you think they were going away forever?
out of all of the songs, this one hit me the hardest. so hard that when i first heard it, my body hit the wall and i stood up after recovering outside my house with a broken wall, this song burned into my brain, and the word "Yslach" scribbled all over the remaining walls. 10/10
I heard this song and immediately went "These people are never allowed to leave this place". I made extra sure to dunk on them as hard as i could and target them every chance i got. It was worth it.
@@Landis963 I honestly don't remember. I know about it but idk if it even showed up on my playthrough. I feel like it didn't, I would've done it if it had.
This track and the track for the Chastity are the most well made tracks on the OST imo, althou the whole OST is very, very well constructed. This one really makes you beware of the Withdrawn and really shows their evil nature. And the Chastity song makee you feel like something iscwrong about that nice gentleman Manley. He may be nice but the song tells you not to let yoyr guard down aroubd him, for he is influential, and dangerous. In a game with no voices, the songs manage to tells us nearly everything abou who we're competing against and that is simply amazing.
The music is excellent at giving the right feel, it lends a ton to the game. I do wanna say though - when the characters speak, they are actually speaking a fictional language Supergiant created, with no written equivalent. Which is totally kickass.
Amazing aesthetics. This track personifies the location of the Devil's Fingers (I don't know how they call it correctly), and the swamp inhabitants. Gloomy, creepy, but there is something majestic and mysterious ...
So I took Bertrude's bonus challenge against the Chasity, but only long after they had already lost their chance to ascend. So in the end I guess that was just going for style points.
[SPOILERS FOR THE GAME] When I first fought the withdrawn i beat them, when it got to the rematches tho, i underestimated them so bad they dunked on me 7 times in a row (I kept restarting) eventually i accpeted defeat and continued on, dunking the accusers and the harp's (i forgot their actual name) and then realised "Oh no, I have to fight HER again..." I got my ass kicked.
When you want to revive an eldritch horror being by slam dunking everyone you come across
#relatable
its ilaoi all over again.
Come on and slam, and welcome to the U N F E E L I N G V O I D
Sounds like a cool character for Call of Cthulhu
@Malte Buß Glad to be of service
Now as you know I normally would wish you a shameful defeat.
But in this case... I wish you a bit of luck
I was happy when he said that; he was on my side for a bit!
I was mortally scared. For the Voice to side with you, it has to be something really serious

I thought this game was so easy until I got to The Withdrawn for the second time. That witch straight up dunked on us.
Yeah he went fucking ham
(((((((((((((((((((((
you spoiled me the game
i dont like you
Ye she got dem Michael jordan slamin skills

no but you spoiled me they are hard
and lute doesnt work for me and plays some shit that isnt even this song

I did not expect a Darren Korb track to get so grimy but I'm glad for it.
Grimy. I like that description, with Darren Korb being in the same sentence. Haha Darren Korb is just amazing. Such a creative, musical mind.

Did you do the Udmildhe sidequest where you beat the Withdrawn with Yslach's limiter on?
@@Landis963 I honestly don't remember. I know about it but idk if it even showed up on my playthrough. I feel like it didn't, I would've done it if it had.
@@Graysett If you ever care to do another playthrough, just make sure to field Udmildhe against the Withdrawn at every opportunity.

i see your withdrawn and raise you one essence
Accuser's theme is better

Hey now . There's voices.
As jumpscares, mainly, but Ligaratus and Noxalas! is imprinted into my mind forever..
Yslach shall grow!
...oops.
I love that you can hear faint hissing noises on this track.
On true nightwing difficulty I lost two regular matches against the withdrawn and then managed to beat them in the liberation rite.... It felt good
One of my favorite tracks ever!
Definitely got dark vibes from this track. One of my favorites
it seems I've severely underestimated the *ballin* capabilities of this eldritch abomination.
I still unironically listen to this track because it's fire. Can't be too mad at the Withdrawn because they got wicked beats.
*ba dum tss*
One of the bangers that stuck out to me.

(Screams in Ancestral voice) BEGONE FIEND!
This song pumps me up
_YYYYSLAAAACH..._
This track elevates my heart rate every time. I fear these witches, even though I smash them every time.
@bowtastic I know right! When I kept restarting against them cuz I thought i was gonna get some kind of "BAD ENDING" if they got to escape
"Yslach the Astral-born"
So he is basically an old one from Bloodborne.
More like a Great Old One from Lovecraftian lore, the original inspiration for both.
All hail Cthulhu
Its either this or thrash pack thats my favorite
Its hard not to zombie-dance to this. Problem is, you're holding a control and trying to defeat devote followers of an ancient monstrosity.

This sounds like it's from the Metroid Prime series, for some reason.
If trap came from The Void, this is what it would sound like.
YSSSLAAAACH, HEEEEEAAAAR MY WOOOOORDS!!!
u gai, trololo....
Ironically, True Nightwing mode is the only time I've beaten them so far! They and the Essence are so hard!
sounds like a leaked Liturgy b side ... i love it
YSSSSSSSSLAAAAAAAAAAACHHHHH

The first team i lost to.
This track reminds me of star control for some reason. Not sure why
I hear passages from "Forbidden Lore" here...
Probably fittingly enough.
Are you afraid of the dark?
I would use this as the Terraria Corruption theme.
Feels fitting for a snake character over Snake Soul
Never played the game tho
