I completely disagree with Amna about pyar k sadqay. The drama wasn't dragged except for the time that everybody took to realize that Mahjabeen isn't pregnant. And I loved the OST in the background, during all those cute scenes. It really elevated everything for me.

It absolutely breaks my heart to see how Ahad Raza Mir's lifetime performance was overshadowed by Bua ji and Natty Khala useless chitchat with a cup of tea in their hands. I was hoping you guys will give acknowledge it and spend sometime on how he performed all those three important scenes with three different emotions and expressions but alas. Jo tareef bhi ki woh itni frustrating aur annoyed tone main ki that dukh hi howa.
I feel Aehsun Talish and his editing team is the laziest of all. They removed many important scenes and added useless ones. Farhat Ishtiaq is often seen upset on Twitter and telling people what went missing. Such a disservice to a brilliant script and actors. I have honestly decided not to watch Aehsun Talish's work after this. He refuses to learn.
Lastly, Ahad better be getting all the awards for Amaan. No one else deserves it... no one!
Aman revealed his identity in public so that Mir Farooq cannot do anything to him because of media and public around. So he is standing in front of Mir Farooq yet he cannot do anything. At hone he could have caught Aman or even killed him.
But u guys are right there definitely are a lot of loopholes like tge dragged bit btw Natty khala and Bua.
Also what Ana is doing just sitting in that hut is a bit disappointing.

Not at all amna the whole episode was so romantic and cute and there never was a dull moment. And pks is a bold drama that is intelligently tackled with innocence and purity of mehjaabeen

Pyar K sadqay is the best drama . Like beautiful. The episode was soo cute ❤️❤️❤️❤️I m in luv with Abdullah and Mahajabeen .i actually disagree with Amna. I like how invested Farhat Ishtiaq is in her writing's execution. For a novelist this has to be such an exciting pursuit, following the drama and commenting whether the production is doing justice to it or not, and then answering questions every once in a while to engage with her visual audience.
The recent episode of Yeh Dil Mera was a big disappointment honestly! I agree with Hassan the drama is getting dragged at this point, it should have been ended by now!
I won't say that this was YDM's worst episode (may be just because of the revelation scene), though it could not reach the level it should have. I think it was just that Natty Khala and Bua G's sequence ruined the excitement for the revelation of Amaan. Their conversation which was entirely based upon Bua G's äap ko kuch nahi pata" and Natty Khala's "mera aur aap ka raabta khatam ho jaye ga" was a boring and ridiculous start. But I think that Amaan made a sensible choice of telling Mir Farooq about himself at the hotel because it was good to see Mir Farooq helpless. He was just looking at him in shock and tension but could not even shout at him. Otherwise, Mir Farooq would have done something and Amaan could not have escaped. With that being said, I also agree with you that if this would have happened in Anna's presence, it would have been great. But I think Anna was not willing to go that's why it could not happen or whatever, it was still satisfying. On the other hand, I still believe that Anna not doing anything is nothing except for Anna's character flaw. For example, in the start the audience was like why does not Anna realize that Amaan is playing with her. It was because she had never faced any bad thing in life and life was a bed of roses for her. She was covered with so many layers of protection by her father. As for now, she does not know how to handle this. It is the first time in her life that she is facing the wind going against her. She is not of the habit to do anything herself, especially when she is emotionally weak too.
I disagreed with Amna. I don't think so Pks has been dragged, BTW we couldn't expected from Zanjabeel's script about this beautiful execution after 15 episodes but this time she proved us wrong 😂😂 Episode was so beautiful and well executed, scenes between abdullah and mahjabeen were super cute and delighted to watch and now we got to know that they started loving eachother and it's a huge development 😍😍👌👌 Mnasoora's step were so good too .. Thank God she WOKEUP 😑 We also saw shanzey's bad condition before marriage 😂😂 but Next episode promo is horrifying me... I think Shanzey and Sarwar will joint hands to demolish Abdullah and Mahjabeen's relationship. 😭😭 Overall, PKS is going with good pace. Loved Yumna and Bilal 😛😛😍😍😍😍😍

All jokes aside, Totally agreeing here, Just because they added some cute music and tried to normalize shehzad's character taking pictures of a girl in public because he is the hero, this is absolutely awful and shouldn't be normalized like this. It is a 100% creepy thing to do, must not be tolerated.
I think they intentionally placed the scene with Amaan at the press conference. Mir Farooq was at a vulnerable place where he couldn't have hurt Amaan because he was at a public place with cameras etc and obviously his character and izat would've been at stake if he would've done something to Amaan. Amaans character purposely chose that place so he could flee again. It would have obviously been much more difficult doing this at someone's house or closed space where Mir Farooq could've easily done something to him. The public eye protected Amaan.

Basically all the darya baagh episodes have been boring. These recent ones and the previous ones after their marriage. I hope the ending is as good as they are claiming. We all remember the cast of Game of Thrones claiming that the last season would be amazing and we all know how that turned out. I think sometimes the actors and production team members are not able to fairly judge their product. They can't seem to see the elephant in the room..
You are so right. Absolutely nothing has happened so far in any scenes of Dariabagh. I really really hope it doesn't end in a fiasco like GOT. That was diappointing beyond any words.
YDM: an exciting premise executed well half the time and boring half the time though never lacking in good performances.
I actually found it smart of Amaan to reveal his true identity to Mir Farooq on that press conference making him stand there helplessly not able to do anything to him publically after the revelation but I wished the way he left was different like "ok susur ji, I'll leave now and make sure to have your BP medication while seeing me slip from your fingers again while you can't move a finger at me in front of all these reporters" and not just disappear like that and sure thing AHAD WAS PHENOMINAL THERE!!
Amna, in Pakistan, we all don't go for therapy. It is actually very rare when people go for therapy because the majority of our population has no access to therapy.

Eventually love of Mahjabeen will turn Abdullah into a confident man,who will reject Shanze this time. Sarwar can marry Shanze in the end after being kicked out by Mansoora. 😂 Afterall he’ll need another rich woman, after becoming homeless and jobless.🤪 Abdullah and Mahjabeen will live happily ever after and will also become parents soon. 😍The End.

Bua ji and Khala’s dialogues were repetitive. Couldn’t understand how the two got together. One was coming from US and the other from sukkar in a bus. How did they meet?🤔
Mahnoor Qureshi I think they met outside Aina/Amaan’s house, since they were both talking about how Aina wasn’t home. Bua ji was stressed about it and Farhana Khala thought that Amaan and Aina had just went for vacation. I didn’t understand it at first, but my mother explained it to me.

Aamna Baji I loved your interview with Yumna. What a humble and decent lady mashallah. So dedicated to her craft and alhumdolillah she’s flying the flag for our culture and Pakistan 🇵🇰 She’s great. I’m a huge fan since I saw her for the first time in IZN.
In the whole episode they all are talking about the mystery but are not solving it!! The only part that pushed the drama forward was aman telling mir farooq about who he was! The introductory part!! But you guys are right that it was the main scene but very poorly excecuted!
Even agr uss scene ko dramatic kr dete jaise yahan se mir farooq aa rha hota aur wahan se aman phr thora clash hkta dono ka aur mir farooq aman ka giriban pakar leta tou bhi issi setting mei wo scene behtar hota bht zyada... Un dono ko itna randomly nhi milna chahiye tha!! That is what i think!!
My aunt's daughter is also like the character of mahjabeen . She is absolutely stupid. She doesn't understand what to talk about and what not to talk about. Such characters also exist in real. She is so funny and she speak in front of everyone what comes out of her mouth 😂

Hassan as far as ur point of bad execution of mir farooq and aman's intro, i agree, it could have been more better n powerful, however, they could not make it happen at mir farooq's place , as aman had to run away from there in a blink of an eye, aur woh kisi outdoor jaga pe jahan gathering ho wahin ho sakta tha....
every important development in ye dil mera's episode is spoiled in previous week's promo, which is a big reason why the episodes feel so anti-climactic. especially recent episodes because they were supposed to have more "thrill" element. Once they spoil it, it's not a thriller anymore.

I agree with Hassan that there were many blunders in this episode but I guess ye drama CORONA ki Nazar hogya hai. If you remember ,Ahsan talish in his interview mentioned that they are still exiting the drama. I'm sure that all these stupid mistakes in execution are because of editing.
I am so so disappointed with YDM. I was a diehard fan of this drama and would eagerly wait for its episode,but I have stopped watching it since the last 3 episodes. It's dragging to a point that its almost stagnant. So disappointed,they should wrap it up now

I enjoyed the buildup towards the introduction Amaan made to Mir Farooq. It made total sense to me.
One, Islamabad and Darya Bagh are pretty close driving distance from each other as Mir Farooq in the olden days, used to travel back and forth for business engagements.
So Amaan left Aina since she insisted that she was going to stay and excavate evidence even if death came to her. He couldn't possibly stay there because he was shattered by all the time Aina spent still preaching about her father's holiness, and Amaan was beginning to lose his motivation. He was feeling frustrated and he couldn't drop Aina off to her dad and he certainly wasn't going to stay at Darya Bagh doing nothing like Aina. So he left contacting his friend to make arrangements for him in Islamabad.
In the meantime Mir Farooq was starting to see his karma and he was paralysed with fear. He didn't feel as in control anymore. One by one, the family of all the people he had wronged or killed were finding an outlet to vent against him in the media. As Amaan had said, he wasn't going to warn Mir Farooq before exposing him, it will just be done.
Still clutched by fear, Mir Farooq attended a public meeting and there when he least expected was Amaan, his equal in all measures he considered important, stealing his thunder, answering the press, questions about his "sold" company still as relevant to the public, as Mir Farooq's "inauguration".
Amaanullah decided to relieve one of Mir Farooq's questions out of "mercy". Mir Farooq could not have figured out his identity on his own so Amaan found the perfect setting to add to Mir Farooq's burdens.
If Amaan had shown up at his house, he wouldn't have been able to escape like he did. The entire hotel was searched, every corner had been looked in and Amaan had fled leaving Mir Farooq more tensed than ever.
An alternative location could have been a terrace or a rooftop of the same hotel if Amaan was going to jump off the terrace and land on his feet, unscathed but that would be too farcical to show for a story that isn't an action thriller. Mir Farooq's residence would have been too unimaginative and Amaan would have been caught.
Taking Aina along to Mir Farooq would obviously have spoilt the entire scene. Mir Farooq wasn't going to give the same reaction in front of her. It wouldn't have got as far as it did, because he could tell his daughter anything. Besides, bringing her to him would end his search, and Amaan was in no mood to be helpful to him.
Srha Asghar, playing Bilal Abbas’s sister, in Pyar ke Sadqay, is an amazing actress. She never goes overboard playing any of the relationships in this play. Amazing supportive cast. Supporting actors should be given equal importance when reviewing any drama because they all are important ingredients for the success of any drama. I agree Ye Dil Mera was a total wash this time. Why spend so much time on bad acting of Natty Khala. Whole episode was a total drag and didn’t make any sense.

I 100% agree with your review. Yeh drama 24, 25 episodes main khatam ho skta tha agar scenes ko drag na kia jata. But lets see what it leads to!😩

Ydm review was so satisfying, but brilliant performances by both actors, i saw farhat ishtiaq's tweet that they deleted the scene of farhana khala bua's meeting at aina's house, looking for next episode that what progress the drama make....

Yeh Dil Mera's biggest problem is that they decided to produce for ratings. When the director said the episodes are still up to 35, at a time when all the biggest mysteries were mostly already revealed, that right there just told us, the audience, that the next 8 episodes (from director's interview video) would be just elongated versions of something that could've been beautifully wrapped up in at least 30! Sad reality of our tv industry, achay bhalay dramay ka sutyanaas ho jata hai, no matter how epic your story or content is 35 episodes is just, bloody, too much... hell I'd say, even 30 is a lot!

Again, you are logically right about how she can bring proof of innocence, but Ana's character is not about logic. I agree with you generally, that you have to prove guilt not innocence, but not within the context of story and Ana's character. I didn't like Bua+khala sequences either, and I do think the episodes are a bit dragged and not executed well (so I am not a crazy fan, as you think whoever disagrees with you about ye dil mera is a crazy fan, incapable of using logic). BUT the plot and how the main characters are behaving is fine within the context of story.
The statements that Ana makes about finding proofs of innocence are not really about some grand plan she is making. It is about the fact that she is saying that she is not willing to entertain even the possibility that her father could be guilty. If she demanded proof of her father's guilt from Amaan, it would mean that she thinks it is a possibility that her father could be guilty and such proof could exist. She thinks her father is above that. Her reaction is an emotional one, based on her extreme trust on her father. She is also feeling guilty at some level for loving and marrying her father's enemy, so she is being defensive in front of Amaan and trying to protect her father and probably trying to assuage her guilt. Of course, she has no detective skills, no arts of manipulation like Amaan. She has led an extremely sheltered life. She basically has no clue about what to do but she is , in her way, defending and protecting her father. I don't think there is anything wrong with her character's track in the plot.

That's the most rational explanation of Ana's behaviour I've heard so far. I also think there's a part of her that cant entirely dismiss what Amaan claims, perhaps because she instinctively does realise that there's more to the story, or more likely,a naive loyalty born of love. If she truly believed her father, she'd just walk out and dismiss Amaan's pov.
@@ipranjali I think she truly believes her father. she is staying with Amaan to protect her father. She actually said something like this in one scene. if she just walked out, Amaan would still be trying to harm her father and she could not do anything about it. She wants to remove the target off her father's back, because she feels that she is guilty of making him an easier target by marrying Amaan. She is also curious about what happened in Daryabag though and she has seen Amaan in a lot of pain too, so even though she doesn't doubt her father, she knows Amaan did face some tragic losses. she just wants to prove that whatever happened with Amaan was not her father;s fault. she has strong emotional attachments with both Amaan and her father. I wouldn't expect her to suddenly walk out on either of them.

As far as she knows, being married to her is a big part of Amaans grand plan to bring down Mir Farooq, and she isn't actively doing any protecting by staying with him. She doesn't have the access to sabotage Amaan's plans, and her father would be at a massive advantage if she went back home with him. I think there's a part of her that can't dismiss Amaans claims.
Hi , Hassan and Amna , if you reading my comment then you may note it down, i was a great fan of Yeh Dil mera upto episode 20 but after Saira's death i lost my interest from the series. The reason why some of us watch is bcz of ahad-sajal and adnan. The story is beautifully written but i think there are many flaws in this series. I personally think Aman's character is weakly developed and fails to prove him a hero , the reason bcz,

If Aman planned all his life that one day he will fight Meer farouque, then why didnt he create a force of body guards around him exactly like how Meer has alot of people around him for protection. When he confidently went to Saira for Meer's marriage cetificate and promised her that she is safe as long as Aman is with her, i really thought may be Aman has body guards who will save her life from Meer's goons but unfortunately Aman failed to prove his power over there.
2. Aman all of a sudden meets his childhood friend prior his wedding and then buys daryabagh property and then creates plans hiding behind him, like seriously , what if they never met each other how would this plan move on, its been shown in series that Aman planned everything from childhood on how to take revenge, but this series hasnt expressed it strongly.
3.Amans secret room had nothing special, they could have made it much creepier , they could have added some strong evidence in that room and family pictures of Aman's and Aina's family together which could hint Aina about their family relations between them in past , also their childhood pics , Sairas evidences .
just 3 fake tomb stone made of wood like seriously nothing special!!
4. Only Aman alone has all evidences against Meer Farouque seriously, If Meer shoots him or kills him indirectly then thats end of story, he doesnt seem scary at all, all the time he keeps giving threat calls to Meer thats it lol, and Aina keeps crying and does nothing to find evidences for her father.
5. Aman selling his business? , at the first few episode we saw how Aman is involved in Social work providing financial help to orphans bcz he is an ophan too, again failed to prove, inorder to take revenge and make people work for him he needs money and power.
6. Aman's mom was shown from a rich family - didnt Aman get her inheritance
7.Aman in episode 7 i guess where he says Aina not to marry him, i thought he is so self sufficient in his planning scheme that he doesnt need Aina for taking revenge but gradually in later episodes we see his only way to revenge is through Aina, so yeah basically , he isnt strong enough
Lastly, after episode 20 onwards the only characters we mostly saw was Aina and Aman, i think there should be enough interactions between all characters and they could have added more people to it bcz its a big project, thats why it seemed quiet dull,
Characters like Nargis bua and Farzana Khala should have been given stronger roles in serial , they are least shown
Despite many flaws , i still love watching it, bcz the story is nice unlike typical saas bahu series , this series could have been better though i would rate 7/10
Shaima Nisha while some of your points are interesting, the one thing I would disagree on is why Amaan needs aina. He knows from his research that aina is her dad’s only weak point and so he’s exploiting it.

Although the question about how did Natty khala and Bua ji meet is a 100% valid question, I really don't get the theory of them coincidentally meeting at Aina and Aman's place. Natty khala would have obviously gone to Aina n Aman's place to look for her but wasn't Bua ji's purpose for coming to Islamabad was to meet Mir Farooq and warn him about Aman?? So they clearly had different places to go! And maybe even deliberately avoid the other house!

The makers are definitely dragging YDM .... however AHAD'S acting was INCREDIBLE . His acting was the only good thing in the episode . Hope we get a better episode next week 🤞
I think Aman doesn't have any solid proof. He wants Aana to remember everything by herself by visiting their old house. Regarding dragness, I think they want to see us every character's role in the whole story. Saying that bua and khala scenes are much dragged ones. @somethinghaute

Ali Ansari Yes, writers should clear this misconception through their dramas. Since the characters shown here were of that mindset, therefore they were expected to say that about daughters. Still the dialogue could have been avoided.
Sorry amna.. i disagree about pyaar k sadqay. It wasn't dragged at all. The episode was love.. The way mother came to rescue abdullah and mahjabeen's relation against sarwar and the building bond between the main leads.. Very major events took place.. And yes I just love OST between those scenes😍

I 100% agree with Hassan's rant about Irthiza taking photos of Mushk without her permission, however, it is not only about him not behaving modern or westernised. Showing this kind of behaviour in a heroic way is not appropriate as it may encourage our youth to copy it. We need to remember that taking pictures without consent is not only dangerous but also illegal many civilised countries. I really enjoy your reviews and always look forward to them 💖

It is not always aise bi hota hai... unless we are outraged and voice this outrage, people our age in 20 years will also be saying aise bi hota hai. There are Lots of men that see the drama but not your reviews. What if they translate a main character taking pictures of a woman he likes as a signal to say “this is all good and ok”? let’s call out these things and make them change, and make the media change to show this is not okay

Great review Hassan and Amna!! I think Farhana Khala and Bua ji met outside Aina’s house, since they were both talking about how Aina wasn’t home. Bua ji was worried about it and Farhana Khala thought that Amaan and Aina had just went for vacation. I didn’t understand it at first, but my mother explained it to me. I also wish they would have cut some scenes from Bua ji and Farhana Khala and given it to Aina. Aina/Sajal is not getting the time to shine and perform right now. She wasn’t even included in the next episode promo.

Yeh dil mera is written for Pakistani audience - I fail to under why Anna’s father is so much in love with her. Whereas he killed her mother , never loved her. He is super rich, why he never wanted to have a son or heir. There must be reasons like maybe he can have no more children. Was just like how Khala bumped in Bua ji ? Maybe scene they shot had audio visual problem
i lost my interest in yeh dil mera 2-3 episodes ago.. its almost the end and nothing major has happened till now.. it seems like they will drag it for the next 2-3 episodes and will rap it up in a hurry in the last 2 episodes.. i have noticed this thing in most of the pak dramas.. starts off really well and then after getting the viewers attention it will drag unnecessarily for almost 10 episodes and then then a rushed ending in the last 1-2 episodes.. suspense thrillers are supposed to be fast phased... ydm didnt had any suspense factor but they should have at least kept the thriller factor inact..
i loved pks very much and till now everything about the show is just perfect.. its now on ep 16 and i think its also gonna get dragged for the next 6-7 episodes.. i hope i get proven wrong and at least pks team does justice to the show and dont drag it unnecessarily..i seriously hope sarwar dont get everything he wish for all the way till the last 2-3 episodes were everyone else finally gets a brain and fights back..
Amna my friend recently had visited a well known psychiatrist in Karachi. While she was in the waiting room a junior dr, came and have her to fill the questionnaire. When my friend went into the psychiatrist room he just gave her medication without asking any further questions or at least asking her how was she feeling.
