Adjust your MTU rates. I found this randomly after struggling with packet loss since warzone 1. It was a game changer my latency is a lot lower and my connection is super stable. Haven't seen any packet loss since.

What console are using?
else getting massive FPS drops on rebirth island on Xbox series s? This issue only happens on rebirth and not on other maps, which proves that it's an OPTIMIZISATION issue and not the console. I'm averaging about 60 to 80 FPS but it feels like I'm playing on 30. I have lost so many gunfights because of this problem. What I don't understand is why no one is talking about this and why the Devs are not even addressing this issue. It has been going on since rebirth officially came out which was nearly 4 months ago....
I've been even hearing people on other consoles like the Xbox series X and ps5 having FPS drops on rebirth, but not as bad as the Xbox series s, due to them being a more powerful cobsole. This issue was also on fortunes keep when it first came out, but they fixed it in 2 weeks or so. The FPS drops on rebirth especially on Xbox series s makes the map unplayable. Now a another performance issue occured but they are just listing it as a "last gen" (Xbox one) issue, which means that they don't even know the performance issue on the current gen on rebirth, which gets me boiled up. Haven't played in 4 weeks, but I have been checking constantly for updates. No fix..... Pls let's try to get their attention on this.

It’s most likely 99% because of your packet loss. Just because you see low “ms” doesn’t mean you aren’t going to be freezing during game. It’s the packet loss that affects the frame drops. But yes turn the texture download off that’s all you need.

@@smhqtyt4424 ping is split into 3 different parts and is measured in ms I know I got that wrong. I meant to say packet loss. As soon as I fixed my packet loss I was completely fine. I couldn’t even play with “low ms” because I kept freezing and always blamed the internet but that’s not true it was packet loss
@@NoahBoat_14 see now that’s better you were wrong but even with packet loss your ping will still go up , it wouldn’t be low
@@smhqtyt4424 in many cases sure. In my case our ping was always low. Our packet loss was simply because we had too many devices interfering with my console when I game. However even doing speed tests the ms was always low. I have to use starlink which is great for ms but notoriously bad for packet loss. Never had a single problem with using internet for anything else. Gaming shouldn’t even lag with 20mbs and we get 200-400mbs.
Remember the days when we didn’t have to mess with settings just to make a game playable

What if you're on console like ps4
The game lags when hacker is in the same grid, the game code running doesn’t match the server and it can’t deal with it, that’s why when you hit squad who are fishing - sus you start lagging
